Believe in something. Strive for something. UHP creates professionals, builds leaders, and reveals purpose. We’re looking for people to join our team who believe this mission is worth showing up for every day.\nUHP is a veteran-focused education and leadership development organization based on a scenic 800-acre campus in Northwest Arkansas.\nThe UHP School of Health & Performance offers program tracks in personal training, health coaching, and culinary nutrition. At the UHP Skilled Trades Institute, students earn the certifications necessary to launch careers in high-demand trades. Leadership development is baked into every program.\nWe also work with a network of employer and industry partners to open career pathways for our graduates. While we can't guarantee employment, everything we do is designed to give service members and veterans a real path toward meaningful careers.\nVeterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply.\nWhy UHP\nAt UHP, you are joining more than a company - you are helping build something designed to create lasting impact.\nYou will have the opportunity to:\nContribute to a mission larger than yourself\n\nRole Overview\nAs the Project Manager, CDL Program and Regulatory Compliance you will be hnds in a builder's role. You will launch the CDL program at the Ignite Skilled Trades Institute, starting with a veteran pilot cohort in partnership with Walmart Transportation, targeted for February 2027. After launch, you keep the program compliant and audit-ready, cohort after cohort.\nAt the center of the role is the program's regulatory data. CDL training is one of the most closely regulated programs a school can offer, and you will own the systems of record that prove compliance to the Arkansas Division of Higher Education, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the Arkansas State Police and employer partners. CDL or transportation experience is a plus, but not required. This is not a traditional project management role.\nKey Responsibilities\nLAUNCH & DELIVERY\nOwn the integrated launch plan and tracker for the CDL pilot: every workstream, owner, dependency, gate and deadline.\n\nRun the cadence: weekly standups, weekly sessions with Walmart Transportation, and formal go/no-go gate reviews.\n\nTrack the critical path, raise early warnings, and bring options to leadership before a deadline is missed.\n\nCoordinate readiness across facilities, the training range, equipment, insurance, staffing, curriculum and admissions, including the pre-launch dry run and mock audit.\n\nREGULATORY FILINGS & APPROVALS\nPrepare and submit Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE) filings, including program and site applications, instructor registrations, and surety bond and Student Protection Fund documentation.\n\nManage the program's FMCSA Training Provider Registry account and the third-party skills-testing authority application.\n\nCoordinate with the Arkansas State Police and the Department of Finance and Administration on CLP, knowledge-test and skills-test workflows and testing capacity for each cohort.\n\nKeep a master regulatory calendar of every filing, renewal and expiration date, and never let one lapse.\n\nREGULATORY DATA & RECORDS\nBuild the systems of record that prove compliance, so any student, instructor or vehicle file can be produced within one business day.\n\nSubmit every ELDT completion to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry by the federal deadline (midnight of the second business day after completion) and keep proof of each submission.\n\nMaintain student, instructor, vehicle and range files, and set and enforce retention, privacy and data-security standards.\n\nPrepare for scheduled and unannounced audits, including covert audits and route checks for third-party testers.\n\nPARTNERS & STAKEHOLDERS\nServe as the day-to-day project contact for Walmart Transportation and other employer partners, coordinating plans, credentials and handoff assessments.\n\nWork with insurers, brokers, equipment providers, permit services and vendors to meet launch dates.\n\nWork with the Program Coordinator, who owns scheduling, purchasing and inventory across the trades, so launch and compliance deadlines stay with this role.\n\nWrite clear briefings, status updates and decision memos for the Head of School, executive leadership and partners.\n\nRISK, BUDGET & REPORTING\nPublish a weekly status report covering gates, risks, decisions needed and progress against plan.\n\nKeep the decision log, risk register and action items current, with a named owner and due date on every item.\n\nTrack spending against the approved budget, and manage vendor deliverables and invoices against scope.\n\nReport program metrics: enrollment, completion, CDL pass rates, placement, Registry timeliness and compliance findings.\n\nSUSTAIN & SCALE\nKeep every cohort compliant from enrollment through Registry submission, skills testing and employer handoff.\n\nLead an after-action review after each cohort and turn lessons into updated procedures and checklists.\n\nWrite and maintain standard operating procedures for every regulatory process this role owns, and stay current on FMCSA, ADHE and DOT changes.\n\nBuild repeatable launch playbooks for future cohorts, Class B, additional states, the Diesel Mechanic program and new employer partners.\n\nQualifications\nREQUIRED\nBachelor's degree in business, education, public administration, supply chain, logistics or a related field, or equivalent professional or military experience.\n\nThree or more years managing projects or programs with multiple workstreams, outside dependencies and hard deadlines.\n\nTwo or more years in a regulated environment, such as education licensing, transportation or DOT compliance, healthcare, government contracting, or military operations and logistics.\n\nExperience preparing and submitting applications, filings or audit documentation to a government agency or accrediting body.\n\nRecords management that holds up under audit: accurate, organized and complete.\n\nAdvanced skill with Excel or Google Sheets, plus experience with project management and document management tools.\n\nValid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check.\n\nAbility to work full-time onsite in Gentry, Arkansas. Candidates must live within a reasonable commute of Gentry or be willing to relocate to Northwest Arkansas.\n\nPREFERRED\nPMP, CAPM or equivalent project management certification.\n\nExperience with FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) rules and the Training Provider Registry.\n\nExperience in a CDL school, motor carrier safety department or fleet compliance role (driver qualification files, Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, DOT inspections).\n\nExperience with state postsecondary licensing (ADHE or similar), VA State Approving Agency approvals or WIOA training-provider listings.\n\nCommercial Driver's License (Class A or B).\n\nMilitary service, especially in logistics, transportation or operations planning, or experience working with veterans and transitioning service members.\n\nLEADERSHIP & ANALYTICAL COMPETENCIES\nClear, concise writing for agency filings, status reports and leadership briefings.\n\nAbility to manage vendors, consultants and partners you don't supervise, and hold them to dates.\n\nDiscretion with confidential student and personnel information.\n\nTurns a long list of agency requirements into a calendar, a checklist and a clean file.\n\nSpots risk early and brings options to leadership, not just problems.\n\nCultural Fit\nGenuine passion for veteran transition and human development.\n\nComfort operating outside traditional corporate, academic, or military structures.\n\nWillingness to build something new rather than maintain something established.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-moving, mission-driven, high-accountability environment.\n\nRespect for the coaching profession and elite performance culture; service-oriented leadership mindset.\n\nCommitment to a healthy lifestyle and to modeling the human-performance principles our trade students learn as part of the curriculum.\n\nSchedule & Environment\nFlexibility is required based on campus operational needs, including varying shifts, occasional weekends, and instructional coverage across the 800+ acre campus. This role is based primarily on the Gentry campus and requires interaction with students, coaches, and leadership teams in a fast-paced, immersive human-performance and coaching environment. Attendance at executive strategy sessions and leadership meetings in our Bentonville office is required on a periodic basis.\nUHP campuses are alcohol-, drug-, and tobacco-free.\nTOTAL REWARDS\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompensation: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience\n\n401(k)\n\nHealth, dental, and vision insurance\n\nPaid time off\n\nProfessional development support\n\nAccess to UHP performance and recovery facilities\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nUHP is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran or military status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.","description_format":"text","description_chars":9263,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Professional development","Vision insurance"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":true,"industries":["Education","Corporate Training","Corporate Trainings"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-12T15:58:00Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":18,"reasons":["conf:0","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-12T20:45:18Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":80000,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/uhp-project-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/uhp-project-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-12T20:45:18Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":33750,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-13T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":686184},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=686184"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fuhp-project-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fuhp-project-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fuhp-project-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/uhp-project-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fuhp-project-manager"}]}
