If you are open to exploring potential roles as they arise, we encourage you to submit your information for consideration.\nThe SEC Technical Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the company’s financial reporting in accordance with SEC regulations. This role focuses on the preparation and filing of SEC documents such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other required filings, as well as providing technical accounting support related to financial reporting.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPrepare and review SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, and other regulatory documents) to ensure compliance with SEC rules and regulations.\n\nAssist in the preparation of financial statements and footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.\n\nResearch and interpret technical accounting issues, including new accounting standards, and assist in their implementation.\n\nCollaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and accounting, to gather necessary information for SEC filings.\n\nMaintain knowledge of current SEC regulations and reporting requirements to ensure continuous compliance.\n\nAssist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports, including disclosures.\n\nSupport the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding financial reporting.\n\nHelp ensure accuracy and consistency of information across various reporting channels.\n\nSkills and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.\n\nProven experience in SEC reporting, financial reporting, or technical accounting (3+ years preferred).\n\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.\n\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.\n\nWHO WE ARE\nUHY is one of the nation’s largest professional services firms providing audit, tax, consulting and advisory services to clients primarily in the dynamic middle market.
