The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, safety, quality, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Specific knowledge and experience running vertical projects in remote Alaska is a mandatory requirement for this position.\nEssential Functions:\nPrepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.\nLead the planning and implementation of multiple projects.\nPrepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.\nFacilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.\nDefine project tasks and resource requirements.\nDevelop full scale project plans.\nManage project budget.\nManage project resource allocations.\nPlan and schedule project timelines.\nTrack project deliverables using appropriate tools.\nProvide direction and support to project team.\nQuality assurance.\nJobsite safety and compliance\nMonitor and report on progress of project to appropriate parties.\nPresent reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.\nImplement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.\nProject evaluations and assessment of results.\nInspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations.\nKnowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:\nThe applicant must be a seasoned professional with a desire to produce a quality product while strengthening Owner, Architect, and Subcontractor relationships.\nExcellent planning and organizing skills.\nKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.\nExecute the project according to the project plan.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nEnsure that project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.\nSkills such as CPM Scheduling, Time Management, Quality Control, Cost Control, and Submittal review, Purchase Orders, Change Orders and Subcontracts.\nComputer literacy is critical including advanced understanding of Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Projects or similar scheduling programs with the ability to learn new programs.\nMust be able to read and interpret engineering, architectural, other constructions drawings, and specifications.\nImplementation of corporate safety program and applicable safety regulations.\nInterpretation of building codes and standards.\nImplement and complete quality and inspections procedures.\nExcellent mathematical skills are required with the ability to perform quantity and material takeoffs from construction documents.\nAbility to complete project financial projections and interpret project costs is essential.\nAbility to be flexible and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrate ethical conduct, professional presentation and cultural awareness.\nResponsibilities\nRequired Experience:\n5 years of experience working as a Project Manager.\nExperience overseeing multiple, diverse projects.\nExperience working in a multi-cultural environment.\nThorough knowledge of construction materials and practices.\nExtensive knowledge of OSHA construction regulations.\n2 years of experience in remote construction and rural logistics required.\nQualifications\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to read text on a computer screen and in hard copy, stand or sit, talk, and hear.\nThe employee is frequently required to enter information into computers via a keyboard or other peripheral device.\nExposure to moderate levels of noise in a well-lit, well-ventilated and moderately paced environment.\nContinuously required to sit, hear and/or respond to verbal/audio cues, perform repetitive motions of hands and wrists, and read computer screen.\nOccasionally required to stand or walk.\nRarely required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, bend, or reach with hands and arms.\nRarely required to push, pull and/or carry objects up to 10 pounds.\nEnvironmental Conditions:\nThe work environment is that of a typical office setting.\nIn a large building in an urban setting.\nMay occasionally be on a construction site.\nMay occasionally travel to rural
