You’ll take ambiguous problems, turn them into production systems, and see your work deliver immediate, measurable impact.\nIf you thrive at the intersection of AI engineering, systems design, and customer impact - this role is built for you.\nWhy This Role:\nBuild real AI systems in production - not just prototypes.\n\nWork directly with customers solving high-value, complex problems.\n\nOperate at the frontier of agentic AI + enterprise automation.\n\nInfluence product direction through hands-on, real-world experience.\n\nSee your work drive millions in measurable business impact.\n\nWhat you'll do at UiPath\nBuild and deploy LLM-powered applications and multi-agent workflows in production environments.\n\nDesign end-to-end solutions integrating APIs, enterprise systems, and data platforms.\n\nPartner directly with customers to translate business problems into scalable AI and RPA solutions.\n\nOwn delivery from prototype → production → iteration.\n\nOptimize systems for performance, cost, and reliability.\n\nExtend platform functionality using APIs, SDKs, connectors, and custom integrations to meet customer-specific requirements.\n\nAnticipate delivery risks, manage scope, and communicate blockers, tradeoffs, and timelines proactively with customers and internal stakeholders.\n\nLead high-impact technical workstreams within strategic customer engagements, aligning delivery to measurable business outcomes.\n\nContribute reusable patterns and influence product direction through real-world feedback.\n\nMentor engineers, raise technical standards, and help scale reusable implementation play books across customer engagements.\n\nPartner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to translate field learnings into platform improvements.\n\nWhat you'll bring to the team\n5-8+ years of software engineering experience, including applied or customer-facing work.\n\nStrong coding skills in Python and/or TypeScript.\n\nHands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and production AI systems.\n\nExperience building and deploying complex, integrated systems.\n\nAbility to operate in ambiguity and move quickly from idea to production.\n\nStrong communication skills with both engineers and business stakeholders.\n\nCustomer-facing experience managing technical risks, timelines, tradeoffs, and stakeholder expectations.\n\nAbility to mentor engineers and contribute to reusable assets, technical standards, and delivery best practices.\n\nTravel: ~20-30% to customer sites.\n\nStrong Preference:\nPhD or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field.\n\nExperience with agent frameworks, orchestration systems, or distributed systems.\n\nFamiliarity with LLM providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.\n\nBackground in applied AI, machine learning, or automation platforms (UiPath, RPA, workflow engines).\n\nExperience in startup, consulting, or forward-deployed environments.\n\nExperience with prompt management, LLM evaluation, agent observability, and production support practices.\n\nFamiliarity with enterprise security, governance, compliance, and operational readiness requirements.\n\nExperience presenting technical recommendations to senior customer stakeholders or executives.\n\nExperience contributing to reference architectures, reusable delivery patterns, or internal technical enablement.\n\nMaybe you don’t tick all the boxes above-but still think you’d be great for the job?
