In this role, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, tracking, troubleshooting, maintaining QA/QC, repairing, and inspecting electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient construction operation. You will support all areas of electrical needs.\n** This is a full-time onsite position located in North Phoenix, AZ (85027). ** \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nPerform hands-on cabling, termination and QA/QC work on electrical systems.\nWeekly and monthly reports of electrical system inspection and maintenance as directed by supervisor.\nConduct routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify and address potential/ existing issues.\nPerform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.\nTroubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted facility construction and operations.\nRepair or replace defective electrical components, wiring, or equipment.\nInstall and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances as needed.\nCollaborate with the Engineers team and other team members to plan and execute electrical projects.\nEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes.\nMaintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repair activities.\nReview progress reports, materials used and costs, contract payment application, and adjust work schedules as indicated by the reports.\nReview & reply RFI (Request for information) and change orders.\nProvide daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal use and client communication.\nProvide technical guidance and support to other facility maintenance staff as needed.\nRespond to emergency electrical issues and perform necessary repairs promptly.\nStay up to date with advancements in electrical technology and best practices.\nOther responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. \nEducation/Experience:\nHigh school diploma/GED or above.\n4-5+ years of experience as an electrician, or similar role.\nOSHA 10 certificate required.\nCompleted apprenticeship program or relevant certification in electrical work, a plus.\nElectrician Journeyman license, preferred.\nSkills and Competencies: \nStrong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and components.\nIn-depth knowledge of local and national electrical codes.\nProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).\nAbility to use engineering software such as AutoCAD.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nHigh level of attention to detail, and highly organized.\nAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.\nAbility to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees.\nAbility to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.\nMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.\nAbility to work in a construction site environment (trailer office).\nLanguage Proficiency:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nNice to have: \nStart-up experience.\nNFPA 70E Trained.\nOSHA 30 certificate.\nCPR/First-Aid certification.\nVerbal communication skills in Mandarin or Spanish.\n Additional Requirements:\nMust have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
