You will plan and conduct research with limited direction, identify unusual results, develop practical solutions, manage multiple assignments, and communicate clear technical findings. Additionally, you will collaborate across functions to support quality and customer complaint resolution, participate in process hazard analyses, and may guide technicians.\nHow You Will Make an Impact:\nConduct process development as directed by the Process Technology Manager\nProvide effectively written and verbal reports as required. \nProvide technical service to both internal and external customers through the resolution of quality problems and customer complaints related to the chemical characteristics of our products\nConduct research with minimum supervision and achieve the goals agreed to by mutual consent with Process Technology Manager\nParticipate in Process Hazard Analysis of new and existing site processes\nHandles multiple assignments and coordinates with others.\nSuggests alternative approaches within the scope of the experiment or project/process.\nBecomes familiar with the technology of the functional unit or area. \nGuide daily activities of technicians.\nProvide technical and hands-on support for plant operations and customers as required. \nCarry out special projects in support of R&D and Manufacturing as directed by the Process Technology Management\nAdhere to company EH&S regulations, SI Group Responsible Care practices and ISO 9000 programs\nMaintain a clean and safe laboratory and working environment.\nWorks with supervision to ensure data integrity and verify that their work is correct.\nMaintains established quality control documentation.\nCreating Extraordinary Starts With:\nBS degree in Chemistry or any physical sciences with at least 4 years related experience; and/or\nMS degree in Chemistry or any physical sciences with at least 2 years related experience; and/or\nPhD degree in Chemistry \nExperience with trouble shooting, scaling up and pilot plants in a manufacturing environment \nWhat We Value:\nWe strive for all employees to nurture physical, mental and emotional health both personally and professionally.
