Become a Catalyst for Change and help ignite impossible.\nGeneral Description\nA Maintenance Mechanic is proficient and fully capable of servicing, testing, troubleshooting and repairing the various mechanical systems, equipment and components onsite. Independently perform a wide range of mechanical functions including pipe fitting, pump and valve rebuilds, millwright tasks, general repair and replacement activities, other assigned activities.\nPay is from $31.67 usd / hour\nHow You Will Make an Impact:\nKey Responsibilities\nThe responsibilities of a Maintenance Mechanic include but are not limited to the following:\nWork in a safe manner to continuously improve the site safety performance\nMaintain, install, test and service SI Group’s assets\nPerform Lockout/Tagout and other energy isolation activities as appropriate\nProvide accurate and timely communications to supervisors and colleagues on job status, issues\nMaintains appropriate equipment records and documents utilizing the CMMS (SAP-PM).\nFollow the rules for coverage for days off, including Sick/Personal, and vacation.\nUtilize E-mail, Intranet and CMMS systems for info and communication regarding assigned job duties\nAchieve acceptable housekeeping of all work areas\nProper care and safeguarding of SI Group equipment, tools and information\nUnderstand and abides by all SI GROUP policies, including the Global Code of Conduct\nPractice Responsible Care 14001 through active participation in MOC’, PHA’s and PSM’s\nReport all injuries, illnesses, spills, and other incidents per instructions, SOP’s and policies.\nEnsuring all SOP’s and assigned CBT’s (Computer Based Training’s) are completed on time \nPerforms all work in a safe manner.\nParticipates in permitting and risk assessments\nParticipate in all Quality, Safety, Environmental, Productivity, or Health initiatives / audits\nPerform other tasks assigned by the Manager, Supervisor or Work Leader\nWhat We Value:\nWe strive for all employees to nurture physical, mental and emotional health both personally and professionally.
