You will act as a point of contact for customers and their representatives, maintain accurate connection records and help ensure activities meet regulatory, data protection and confidentiality requirements.\nThe team manages a high volume of connection agreements, customer enquiries and record updates each month. Your organisation, accuracy and clear communication will help customers receive timely information and ensure agreement records are complete and up to date.\nIn this role, you will:\nPrepare and administer customer connection agreements and agreed variations.\n\nRespond to customer and representative enquiries by email and telephone about the standing data held in their agreements.\n\nExplain the available options for changing connection agreement information in a clear and helpful way.\n\nUpdate standing data and customer connection records for new or amended agreements.\n\nMonitor the issue, return and filing of connection agreements, maintaining complete and accurate records.\n\nResolve queries promptly, escalating issues where appropriate.\n\nWork with internal colleagues and external customers to obtain the information needed to progress agreements.\n\nHandle personal and commercially sensitive information in line with data protection, UK GDPR and confidentiality requirements.\n\nFollow relevant regulatory requirements and team processes when completing connection agreement activities.\n\nSkills & Qualifications\nEssential\nFive GCSEs at grades 9-4 or A*-C, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications or relevant practical experience.\n\nExperience of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and internal or external stakeholders.\n\nClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information and options in an accessible way.\n\nAbility to organise a varied workload, manage a high volume of enquiries and maintain accurate records.\n\nConfidence using Microsoft Excel and Word to manage information and produce documents.\n\nUnderstanding of the importance of data protection, confidentiality and the appropriate handling of sensitive information.\n\nAttention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.\n\nDesirable\nExperience in customer data management, contract administration or a similar coordination role.\n\nExperience of the UK energy sector or another regulated environment.\n\nExperience working with connection agreements, standing data or comparable customer records.\n\nWe recognise that strong candidates may bring relevant skills through different career paths.
