Much of this role includes working in the built environment on multi- million-pound construction schemes and in people’s homes.\nSpecific responsibilities include:\nInstallation and commissioning Insite prepayment & controlled credit systems\nUsing a laptop and tablet device to commission metering equipment, update records and systems.\nProblem solving and fault- finding issues on site and liaising with other trades and the main contractor.\nLiaise with & report to site staff (clients, principal contractors, consultants & heating / plumbing sub- contractors)\nHeat Interface Unit (HIU) replacement, maintenance, and servicing (mainly in occupied homes).\nMechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery Units (MVHR) installation, replacement and maintenance.\nFan Coiled Units (FCU) and cooling meter replacement, maintenance, and servicing.\nInstallation and maintenance of in property heating and cooling controls.\nCommissioning, service, and repair of in property heating and cooling systems.\nTo conduct site surveys and assist the Installations Team with the installation and commissioning of new systems.\nFull installation, retrofitting and maintenance of multi utility Pay-As-You-Go metering systems, including prepayment valve, mains spur, wiring and commission (mainly in occupied homes).\nInstalling IT Gateways & Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.\nWork in plantrooms:\nProvide both pre-planned and reactive maintenance to plantrooms which we are contracted to maintain (training provided).\nCarry out monthly inspections and condition reports on plant and kit installed with the plantrooms and infrastructure (training provided).\nReplacement of components such has pumps, valves and other components as deemed necessary (training provided).\nSupport on-going Customer Services:\nProvide reactive maintenance; including equipment installed in people’s homes or commissioned within a scheme but not yet handed over to clients / residents\nLocation and working hours:\nFull-time position (37.5 hours per week).\nMonday to Friday working 7.5 hours per day between 08:00 and 20:00.\nRequired skills and attributes:\nMinimum qualification of NVQ level 2, or equivalent, in plumbing and heating\nCertified in 18th edition domestic wiring (not essential, training can be provided)\nCSCS card - Essential\nSMSTS or H&S qualification - desirable\nFirst aid trained - desirable\nFull driving licence essential\nPositive attitude towards providing customer service excellence in all aspects of work\nHappy to work as an individual but contribute to the team goals, ethos and share best practice\nBenefits:\nSalary:Competitive base salary + KPI related bonus\nVehicle:Company van included (personal usage permitted subject to tax and fuel charges)\nHoliday Allowance:25 days of holiday per year, plus English bank and public holidays, plus an additional day of Birthday leave.\nPension Scheme:Employer pension contribution matched at 4%.\nEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP):Free, confidential support available for personal and professional challenges.\nCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme:\"DO RIGHT WITH INSITE\" provides up to 2 paid days off per year for volunteering with company-led initiatives.
