Because at UKG, your work matters-and so do you.\n\nRole Overview:\n\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to turn business questions and operational data into clear, reliable analysis. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders and experienced analytics colleagues to gather requirements, prepare and validate data, maintain reporting solutions, and explain findings that support day-to-day decisions and process improvement.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nWork with business partners and senior analysts to clarify reporting and analysis needs, document requirements, and define measures.\nBuild, update, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that present key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics clearly.\nAnalyze data to identify trends, exceptions, and potential drivers; summarize findings and practical implications for business partners.\nPrepare, reconcile, and validate data from approved sources; investigate discrepancies and raise source-system or data-quality issues with the appropriate partners.\nUse industry standard tools like SQL, Power Query, DAX and AI to retrieve, transform, and analyze data, following established standards and guidance for more complex work.\nMaintain clear documentation for data sources, business definitions, calculations, reports, and recurring processes.\nPartner with IT, data engineering, and analytics teams to resolve data issues and support dependable data flows.\nPresent results in clear, concise language for technical and non-technical audiences, and respond to questions about reports and analysis.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.\nWorking proficiency and practical experience working with large data sets, KPIs, dashboards and analytical tools (e.g. SQL, Power Query, BI, excel or comparable analytics tools).\nDemonstrated experience using AI-enabled analytics tools to support data exploration, analysis, or automation, with the ability to validate outputs and apply them responsibly.\nUnderstanding of data quality, data modeling, reporting definitions, and common data preparation concepts.\nAbility to investigate data questions, validate results, and document assumptions and methods.\nBusiness curiosity and the ability to connect analysis to operational questions and user needs.\nAbility to communicate clearly in writing and verbally, including explaining findings to business audiences.\nAbility to organize assigned work, manage priorities, and collaborate across teams in a changing environment.\nExperience partnering with senior leaders, translating analytical findings into clear and credible recommendations.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Professional Services, Customer Success, Support Services, and/or Managed Services at a SaaS or technology based company.\nDemonstrated experience developing and presenting information in executive presentations.\n\nCompany Overview: \n\nUKG is the Workforce Operating Platform with unified HR, payroll, and workforce management, built to solve the unique challenges of frontline work. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
