areas in which the product is not in compliance or of any changes in project scope or specifications.\nCoordinates laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and instructions to technicians, scheduling and reviewing work of laboratory technicians and engineering support staff and establishing completion dates.\nCoordinates administrative aspects of project management.\nServes as Project Handler of record and may sign as Reviewer of record as assigned.\nCommunicates project status and results to clients through frequent contact and by preparing reports.\nPrepares Follow-Up Service Procedures and information pages.\nIntegrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.\nResolves engineering issues associated with Variation Notices by analyzing and reporting on the acceptability of the variations.\nAssists in the development of UL requirements.\nAssists in developing special test methods and test equipment.\nAnalyzes test program for adequacy and sequence.\nMay coordinate and/or perform File Reviews, as directed.\nMay represent UL at industry related functions such as seminars and trade shows.\nRead and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.\nPerforms other duties as directed.\n Conduct testing, inspection, and certification activities for fire suppression products including foam concentrates/ extinguishing systems/pumps, and engines.\nEvaluate products for compliance with applicable national and international standards (e.g., UL, EN).\nPerform product assessments as per TIC requirements.\nPrepare detailed technical reports, test documentation, and certification findings.\nSupport customers in understanding compliance requirements and certification processes.\nCoordinate with internal teams, laboratories, and external stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.\nStay updated with evolving fire protection standards, regulations, and industry best practices.\nEnsure adherence to quality, safety, and operational procedures during all testing and inspection activities.\nProvide technical guidance and contribute to process improvements within the TIC function.\n Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in fire suppression products, fire protection systems, or TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry.\nBasic knowledge of fire suppression systems such as foam concentrates/ fire extinguishing systems/ pumps and engines.\nFamiliarity with fire protection standards and codes (UL, FM, NFPA, EN, ISO) is an advantage.\nBasic understanding of testing, inspection, or quality assurance processes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nProficiency in MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.\nWillingness to travel for on-site testing activities.\nAbility to work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on quality and
