Our engineers work across technologies shaping the future of industry, including industrial automation, energy systems, power conversion, motor drives, robotics and intelligent industrial devices.\nAs a Certification Project Engineer - Switching Devices in our Neu-Isenburg team (hybrid working model), you will focus on the evaluation and certification of switching device elements, such as contactors, relays, power supplies and proximity switches.\nWorking directly with leading manufacturers, you will combine electrical engineering, product testing, project management and customer interaction to assess products against internationally recognized standards and support their access to global markets.\n What you’ll do:\nManage certification projects from initial technical review through testing and final certification.\nEvaluate electrical and electronic products against relevant UL, IEC and EN standards, including UL/IEC/EN 61010-2-201 and the IEC/EN 60947 series.\nDefine testing requirements and coordinate testing activities with customers, laboratories and technical experts.\nReview product designs and technical documentation and identify potential compliance issues.\nWitness and evaluate electrical, mechanical, environmental and safety tests.\nAct as the main technical contact for customers, providing clear guidance on requirements, project progress and certification outcomes.\nPrepare technical reports and certification documentation.\nSupport sales colleagues with technical enquiries and project quotations.\nOccasionally visit customer sites and test facilities across Europe.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nRequired:\nDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.\nGood understanding of electrical/electronic products, industrial automation, control systems, drives or power electronics.\nKnowledge of or exposure to UL/IEC/EN 61010-2-201 and/or the UL/IEC/EN 60947 series.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.\nConfident communicator who enjoys working directly with customers.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities.\nFluent English.\nWillingness to travel occasionally within Europe.\nNice to have:\n2+ years of experience in testing, certification, compliance, product development or electrical engineering.\nExperience in laboratory testing or product evaluation.\nKnowledge of CE marking, conformity assessment or international product safety standards.\nPrevious experience working with customers in a technical environment.\nDutch language skills are an advantage but not required.\nRecent graduates are welcome!\nStarting your engineering career?
