This is a field-based position requiring regular on-site work across client locations. In this role, you will support the inspection, testing, and diagnosis of buildings and their systems under normal operating conditions. You will work closely with experienced professionals to collect and analyze environmental data, contributing to high-quality reports that help clients address existing issues and prevent future risks\n Conducts environmental testing and inspection at customer sites and submits data in a timely manner usingelectronic monitors and other UL Solutions-supplied equipment or supplies.\n\nCoordinates site arrival times with customer to reinforce good communication.\nEnsures that UL Solutions-provided equipment is in good working order and within calibration prior to each assignedinspection. Is accountable for calibration of all assigned equipment. Notifies manager when equipment is not\ncompliant.\n\nFollows designated scope of work for each project and ensures that all tasks are completed on site and in a timelymanner. Identifies additional opportunities or customer needs.\n\nResponds to questions in a timely fashion regarding site inspections from manager and report team as needed.\nProperly documents field samples by accurately completing applicable chains of custody and submitting samples tothe appropriate laboratory in a timely manner.\n\nAssists Senior Field Technicians and people leaders with training new employees.\nIntegrates continuous improvement concepts and skills into all aspects of the job.\nComplies with all UL Solutions safety training in the field.\nReads and follows the UL Solutions Code of Conduct and physical and digital security practices.\nPerforms other duties as directed.\n Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline or relevant industry experience demonstrating equivalent capability\nKnowledge and experience in buildings and their materials, air and water systems and related issues (preferred)\nUnderstanding of test equipment and environmental monitoring instruments\nStrong teamwork skills and ability to follow direction from senior colleagues\nProfessional communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients\nWillingness to learn and develop technical expertise in environmental services\nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly\nGeneral understanding of relevant environmental legislation\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.\nTotal Rewards: We understand that rewards are an important consideration as you plan the next step in your career.Salary range varies by location and local market conditions.
