hybrid position (3 days per week in office) located at either our Northbrook, IL or Chicago, IL office.\n Enterprise Reporting & Dashboard Development\nBuild executive dashboards, scorecards, enterprise reports, and KPI frameworks that leaders use to run the business.\nStandardize financial and operational metrics so reporting is consistent, trusted, and scalable.\nDesign clear, intuitive reporting experiences that make performance easy to understand and act on.\nPartner with Finance and business teams to deliver reporting solutions that solve real business needs.\nSupport management and executive reporting packages with timely, relevant insights.\nData Analytics & Insights\nAnalyze financial, operational, and business data to uncover trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.\nTranslate analysis into practical recommendations that help leaders move faster and make better decisions.\nStrengthen enterprise KPI structures and performance measurement practices.\nData Management & Reporting Solutions\nBring together data from multiple systems and make it usable, reliable, and ready for reporting.\nMaintain reporting datasets and catalogs as trusted enterprise information sources.\nImprove data preparation, automation, and visualization to reduce manual effort and increase speed.\nPromote data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting processes.\nWork with IT and data teams to improve architecture, integration, and access to trusted data.\nAnalytics Product Development\nDefine, build, and launch reporting and analytics products that scale across the enterprise.\nCreate self-service dashboards that give teams faster access to the answers they need.\nDrive adoption and continuous improvement of enterprise analytics capabilities.\nIdentify opportunities to increase automation, efficiency, and business value.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCollaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, IT, and business leaders to align reporting with enterprise priorities.\nPresent insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.\nBuild alignment by connecting data insights to business decisions.\nServe as a trusted advisor on reporting, performance measurement, and analytics practices.\nCoach analysts and business partners involved in reporting and analytics initiatives.\nGovernance & Compliance\nPromote reporting standards, metric consistency, and data governance best practices.\nDocument KPI definitions, reporting methodologies, and business rules.\nFollow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct and all physical and digital security requirements.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field.\n5+ years of experience in business analytics, enterprise reporting, BI, financial reporting, performance management, or related work.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel.\nExperience working with large, complex datasets.\nStrong data management, integration, and analysis skills.\nAbility to organize, analyze, validate, and connect information from multiple sources.\nStrong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.\nExperience creating dashboards, scorecards, executive reporting, and analytical solutions.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred\nExperience supporting Finance, FP&A, Accounting, EPM, or performance reporting functions.\nExperience with ERP, EPM, enterprise reporting platforms, SQL, data modeling, or automation tools.\nExperience developing KPI frameworks and management reporting processes.\nKnowledge of financial and operational performance metrics.\nExperience supporting executive reporting and decision support.\nExperience working in a global, matrixed organization.\nWhat The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country.
