Our team is excited to meet you!\n Job Overview & Responsibilities\nAs an Information Technology Intern at United Launch Alliance you'll gain hands-on experience and will have the opportunity to:\nGain experience as developers, designers, or information technology specialists to develop their skills to deploy technology solutions that solve problems for businesses and organizations.\nUtilize their technical and analytical skills, demonstrate effective communication techniques and project development knowledge to perform activities throughout the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) such as: requirements analysis & definition, application design and development, system test planning and execution, deployment planning, and documentation. \nSupport one or more experienced business professionals in performance of assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of the business side of the aerospace industry.\nInterns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which help them build a strong network within the ULA community and with fellow interns!\nRequired Education\nAt minimum completed Freshman year of college or university by the time of the summer internship assignment.\n\nHigh School/GED\nBasic Qualifications\nMust have a minimum college GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application; cumulative, no rounding. We recommend you upload it to your profile when you apply.\nMust have a valid driver’s license and motorized vehicle transportation if assigned an internship in Alabama; California; Florida; or Pueblo, Colorado. For Denver, Colorado and Washington, DC, motorized transportation is recommended.\n Role Specific Qualifications\nAt minimum, actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field from an accredited college or university. \nPreferred degree focus for this internship is in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information or Computer Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or relevant field of study. Must have plans to be enrolled in classes during Fall Semester 2027.\nAbility to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.\nMust have an interest in learning any of the following: \nMotivation or desire to learn AI Assisted coding, infrastructure build, and data analytics. \nERP System (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance) - SAP \nData Analytics and Business Intelligence \nProduct Life Cycle Management (Siemens Team Center) \nSystem Administration (Unix/Windows), Dev Ops, Automation, Cloud \nAdministration including scripting \nEnterprise Security and user access management \nProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems \nDatabase Administration, Backup, and recovery \nRouting, Firewalls, Switching, and Networking \n\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint). \nEffective presentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills. \nMust be able to complete an internship at any of the below ULA's locations: Denver, CO \n\nSummary Salary Range:\nCO: $23.10 - $37.95\nPlease note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate's experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations.
