Through practicing these shared values, we drive profitable growth and success.\nCome join the Ulbrich team and become part of a greater purpose and a promising future!\n SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:\nUnder the general direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, serves as the primary Human Resources representative supporting employees and management at both Ulbrich Shaped Wire and Corporate Headquarters in North Haven, CT. This position is responsible for providing strategic and day-to-day HR support across multiple facilities, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, policy administration, training, employee engagement, and organizational development. The role requires a consistent on-site presence at both locations and the ability to build strong working relationships with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \n(The essential duties and responsibilities listed below are not all encompassing. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned consistent with business requirements.)\nServes as the primary HR contact for assigned facilities, providing guidance and support to employees and managers on a broad range of human resources matters.\nPartners with facility leadership to support business objectives through effective HR strategies, workforce planning, employee relations, and talent management initiatives.\nInterprets, communicates, and ensures consistent application of Company policies, procedures, and employment practices.\nInvestigates and resolves employee relations issues, performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy violations, escalating matters when appropriate.\nLeads full-cycle recruitment efforts for exempt, non-exempt, and hourly positions, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, and onboarding.\nCoordinates and conducts new employee orientation programs and facilitates employee training and development initiatives.\nSupports performance management processes, including coaching managers on employee development, corrective action, and performance improvement plans.\nAssists with compensation, employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.\nPartners with the HR team on benefits administration, wellness initiatives, employee communications, recognition programs, and special projects.\nMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and remains current on evolving HR regulations and best practices.\nRepresents the Company at recruiting events, job fairs, professional associations, educational institutions, and community events.\nMaintains a visible and approachable presence within assigned facilities to foster positive employee relations and open communication.\nRegularly travels between Ulbrich Shaped Wire and Corporate Headquarters to provide direct, in-person HR support and partnership.\nRegular attendance and on-site presence at assigned locations are required.\n EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated experience managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, investigations, and policy administration.\nStrong business partnership skills with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organization.\nThorough knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and their practical application.\nExcellent communication, presentation, facilitation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.\nProven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.\nStrong conflict resolution, problem-solving, coaching, and decision-making capabilities.\nHigh level of proficiency with HR systems, Microsoft Office applications, and technology used to support HR operations.\nAbility and willingness to maintain a regular in-person presence at multiple facilities and travel between locations as business needs require.\n This position which requires an on-site presence (Monday-Friday), offers a competitive base salary of $80K-$95K, an opportunity to earn a bonus, and
