Utilising our proprietary technology we identify, geolocate and fingerprint complex signals in environments where traditional sensors fail.\nWe operate at the intersection of defense, space, and intelligence, providing global partners with advanced RF, maritime, and aerial surveillance capabilities, strengthening security and situational awareness across all domains.\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for a Numerical Algorithms Engineer who can take our satellite based emitter localization problem from concept to a validated algorithmic engine. This role sits at the intersection of numerical computing, signal processing, and geometric modeling. You will work with RF, systems, and embedded teams to turn noisy multi sensor RF measurements into robust position estimates that can run on real spaceborne and airborne platforms.\nYou will not just prototype ideas. You will be responsible for defining, implementing, and validating the core algorithms that sit at the heart of ULOOK’s RF intelligence platform.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and implement sensor fusion algorithms to estimate emitter position using multi sensor measurements derived from RF signals and platform geometry.\nBuild numerical and geometric models that account for measurement noise, sensor placement, timing and synchronization errors, and signal characteristics.\nWork with signal processing engineers to derive relevant observables from sensor data and incorporate them into localisation formulations.\nPerform coordinate transformations between geodetic (WGS84), Earth centered (ECEF), and local Cartesian frames, and reason about geometry, baselines, and localisation accuracy.\nRun simulation and Monte Carlo studies to characterise accuracy, sensitivity to error sources, and performance envelopes across representative mission scenarios.\nValidate algorithms on simulated and recorded RF data, including analysis of outliers, ambiguous solutions, and edge cases.\nWork closely with embedded and systems engineers to translate algorithms into implementable designs with realistic compute, latency, and memory constraints.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Aerospace, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.\n3 to 5 years of experience in algorithm development for localisation, tracking, sensing, navigation, or related estimation problems.\nStrong foundation in probability, random processes, linear algebra, and optimisation.\nHands-on experience with Python and or MATLAB for numerical computing, simulation, and data analysis.\nDemonstrated experience taking at least one algorithm from concept or paper through simulation to validation on real world or lab data.\nComfort working with spatial and coordinate based data, including 3D geometry and transformations.\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nMaster’s degree or advanced coursework in signal processing, communication systems, estimation theory, or computational modeling.\nExperience with passive localisation, navigation, or tracking problems involving multiple sensors or platforms.\nFamiliarity with uncertainty modeling and performance analysis such as error bounds, dilution of precision, error propagation, and Monte Carlo simulation.\nExposure to satellite systems, airborne sensor platforms, or distributed sensor networks.\nExperience collaborating with RF, hardware, and
