We offer professionals the opportunity to work with modern server technologies, collaborate with international infrastructure providers, and contribute directly to the growth of a global hosting platform\nJob Overview\nWe are looking for an experienced and technically knowledgeable Dedicated Server Provisioning Engineer to join our infrastructure operations team.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for coordinating dedicated server provisioning, hardware sourcing, server configuration, and deployment operations across our global infrastructure and data center partner network.\nYou will work closely with infrastructure teams, technical support, hardware vendors, and data center providers to ensure that dedicated servers are properly configured, efficiently provisioned, and delivered according to customer requirements.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong server hardware knowledge with practical experience in dedicated hosting operations, vendor coordination, hardware procurement, and server lifecycle management. This is a technical operations role that requires a solid understanding of dedicated server infrastructure, not a purely administrative or sales-focused position.\nKey Responsibilities\nDedicated Server Configuration & Provisioning\nAnalyze customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate dedicated server configurations based on workload, performance, scalability, and budget.\nEvaluate and specify server hardware configurations, including CPU, RAM, SSD/NVMe storage, RAID controllers, network interfaces, and bandwidth requirements.\nCoordinate the end-to-end dedicated server provisioning process, from initial order placement through deployment and service activation.\nWork with technical and data center teams to ensure server configurations meet approved specifications and customer requirements.\nCoordinate operating system installation, remote management access, network configuration, and provisioning validation when required.\nTrack provisioning progress, resolve operational bottlenecks, and ensure timely server delivery.\nHardware Procurement & Vendor Management\nCoordinate dedicated server procurement and hardware sourcing with data centers, server manufacturers, suppliers, and infrastructure partners.\nIdentify suitable hardware and server availability across internal inventory and external providers.\nSource alternative server configurations or suppliers when requested hardware is unavailable.\nEvaluate hardware availability, pricing, technical specifications, and delivery timelines to support procurement decisions.\nCoordinate hardware upgrade, replacement, and modification requests, including RAM, storage, network components, and other server resources.\nMaintain effective communication with external vendors and data center operations teams to resolve order-related or infrastructure issues.\nInfrastructure Operations & Inventory Management\nMaintain accurate records of dedicated server inventory, hardware specifications, deployed resources, and available capacity.\nMonitor hardware availability and support capacity planning based on customer demand and infrastructure requirements.\nCoordinate server allocation, hardware replacement, upgrade requests, and decommissioning activities.\nAssist with troubleshooting hardware configuration, provisioning, and deployment-related issues in collaboration with technical teams.\nEnsure accurate documentation of provisioning workflows, hardware changes, vendor information, and server lifecycle activities.\nIdentify opportunities to improve provisioning efficiency, operational workflows, and infrastructure resource utilization.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nCollaborate with infrastructure engineering, system administration, technical support, and internal operations teams.\nProvide technical guidance on dedicated server hardware configurations and available infrastructure options.\nCommunicate provisioning updates, technical requirements, and deployment timelines to relevant stakeholders.\nEscalate provisioning delays, hardware limitations, and supplier-related issues to the appropriate teams.\nSupport continuous improvements in dedicated hosting operations and customer delivery processes.\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in dedicated server hosting, bare-metal infrastructure, server provisioning, data center operations, or technical server procurement.\nStrong understanding of enterprise server hardware, including Server CPU, RAM, SSD/NVMe storage, RAID technologies, and network interfaces.\nPractical knowledge of dedicated server configurations, hardware compatibility, server specifications, and infrastructure requirements.\nSolid understanding of the dedicated server provisioning lifecycle, from hardware sourcing and configuration through deployment and delivery.\nExperience coordinating server orders, hardware procurement, or infrastructure requests with data centers, hardware suppliers, or hosting providers.\nAbility to translate customer workload requirements into suitable server configurations.\nUnderstanding of hardware upgrades, replacements, resource allocation, and server inventory management.\nFamiliarity with basic server networking concepts, including IP addressing, VLANs, network connectivity, and bandwidth allocation.\nAbility to coordinate multiple provisioning requests, manage operational priorities, and meet delivery deadlines.\nStrong problem-solving, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.\nGood written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and infrastructure partners.\nAbility to work independently, take ownership of operational tasks, and collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working directly with dedicated hosting providers, bare-metal infrastructure companies, or large-scale data center operations.\nFamiliarity with Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, and Rocky Linux, as well as Windows Server environments.\nExperience with server remote management technologies such as IPMI, iDRAC, iLO, and KVM over IP.\nFamiliarity with server provisioning automation, operating system deployment tools, or infrastructure provisioning platforms.\nExperience with hosting management and automation systems such as WHMCS or similar platforms.\nKnowledge of hosting control panels, including cPanel/WHM, Plesk, or DirectAdmin.\nFamiliarity with Proxmox VE, KVM, or other virtualization technologies.\nUnderstanding of data center infrastructure, including rack systems, network switches, structured cabling, and power management.\nExperience with DCIM platforms, asset management systems, or infrastructure inventory tools.\nKnowledge of server hardware diagnostics, component compatibility, and hardware lifecycle management.\nExperience in hardware procurement, vendor comparison, supplier coordination, or technical sourcing.\nBasic scripting or automation experience with Bash, Python, or similar
