The BIM Engineering Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical 2D and 3D drafting support and creating construction and removal drawings/designs utilizing Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD. This role will be a strategic contributor to the growth of our Renewables Lifeline Sector®. Qualified candidates will be considered to work remote from any location in the US, or if candidate chooses may work from any of Ulteig’s existing office locations.\nWhat You'll Do\nCollaborate with engineers, designers, and other technical staff to develop 3D models of BESS design and equipment using Autodesk Revit.\nEnsure that 3D models are accurate and reflect design specifications.\nCollaborate with other departments to ensure that 3D models integrate with other project deliverables.\nEnsure 3D models are up to date and comply with project deadlines.\nComplete design and construction drafting work including plan and section views, construction details, electrical one-lines and schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and communications diagrams.\nMust have strong attention to detail.\nMust collaborate well with a team.\nWhat We Expect from You\nTwo-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting.\nMinimum 5 years of experience.\nKnowledge of Revit is required.\nKnowledge of AutoCAD is required.\nProven experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)\nKnowledge of BESS electrical physical design would be beneficial.\nKnowledge of Dynamo and/or pyRevit would be beneficial.\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.\nAbility to adapt to changes in project scope and deadlines.\nGood organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.\nIf working remote must have reliable high speed internet capabilities.\nMust be legally entitled to work in Canada.\nAs you consider applying for a position at Ulteig, we encourage you to think outside the box - because we do!
