Responsibilities include:\nPerform system studies including short circuit, arc flash, load flow, transient overvoltage (TOV), transient recovery voltage (TRV), insulation coordination, and harmonics analysis\nUtilize tools such as PSSE, ETAP, EasyPower, PSCAD, and related software\nSupport system planning and protection analysis to ensure safe and reliable system design\nSelected candidates will be required to:\nDeliver high-quality technical support to generator owners across wind, solar, and BESS projects\nWork effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high degree of ownership\nLeverage Python scripting and automation to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability of study processes\nWhat We Expect from You\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required, ABET accredited program, or equivalent required\nA minimum of 3 years of working experience, with at least 2 years of experience directly related to power systems\nExperience in EasyPower, ETAP, PSSE, and/or PSCAD is required\nExperience with programming in Python is preferred\nIndependently completes assigned tasks required and actively manages individual workload\nEIT status or working towards EIT status\nMust be a self-starter and willing to identify improvements and implement them, utilizing support from others\nMust be comfortable asking questions to team when learning new skills\nMust be analytical, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude\nExcellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills\nDemonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, clients and external agencies\nMust have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.\nAs you consider applying for a position at Ulteig, we encourage you to think outside the box - because we do!
