As leader of the project team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of Client projects in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with requirements and standards as set forth in the project contract(s) for our most complex and large-scale projects. Your advanced technical knowledge and extensive project management experience will be pivotal in guiding projects to successful completion. Location Requirement: Candidates must currently reside in the Denver, CO metropolitan area. This position is not open to remote work outside of the Denver market.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProject Management\nLead large, multi-disciplinary Transmission and Substation projects from initiation through close-out for Clients\nManage all aspects of project execution, including scope, stakeholder management, schedule, budget, and quality\nCritical coordination of highly matrixed project execution teams to ensure resources are focused on the right activity at the right time to meet project schedule\nLead project meetings, including progress reviews and problem-solving sessions\nEnsure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations\nEnsure availability or seeks out adequate resources to support the project\nDevelop and implement detailed project plans, including risk management and mitigation strategies\nProficient in analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implementing recommendations to support project scope, schedule, and cost objectives \nSupport governance processes that enable consistent execution across transmission projects and programs.\nSupport annual planning, organizational initiatives, and strategic business priorities\nCollaboration & Communications \nFunction as the key project representative for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns \nLead overall project, coaching, conflict resolution, facilitation, motivation, and negotiation\nCommunicate with Senior Leadership, clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns\nWork collaboratively with the Project Management Team to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracked to plan\nEnsure that project timelines are maintained and milestones are met\nMonitor project progress and take corrective actions to keep projects on schedule, along with keeping the project plan up-to-date\nMonitor and control project budgets to prevent overspending\nKeep track of all financial transactions related to the project\nMonitor and control project costs\nProject Reporting & Compliance \nMonitor ongoing project health and track key metrics\nAdhere to Client governance policies and procedures for project success\nApply a deep understanding of contract strategy with both prime and client agreements to ensure alignment and successful project execution\nDevelop and distribute recurring operational and portfolio reports.\nCompile leadership KPIs, scorecards, and performance dashboards.\nSupport preparation of executive reporting packages and business reviews\nGenerate ad hoc analyses and reports to support leadership decision-making\nTeam Effectiveness\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work\nDemonstrates excellent leadership, verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills\nEnsure that best practices are shared and implemented effectively across projects and teams.\nDeeply understands business objectives and stakeholder needs\nProvide training and support to all project team members to associated business operations.\nTrack key portfolio commitments, milestones, and deliverables.\nWhat We Expect from You\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.\n10+ years of project management experience, with 5 years of experience in the power industry preferred\nTechnical knowledge, with the ability to understand and coordinate solutions for complex challenges preferred\nPE, PMP, CCM or equivalent certification preferred\nDemonstrated leadership skills and a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including project and/or program management, services, engineering, operations, and procurement\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), with advanced understanding and experience of scheduling and cost planning\nTravel to clients’ facilities for field visits and client meetings monthly (25%)\nDemonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement\nMust have authorization to
