Join us to develop and commercialize technologies that unleash the power of genomics at scale and empower the future of human health. \nWe are looking for a highly motivated Technician I, Sequencing to join our team!\nThis opportunity is an onsite full-time Friday-Monday (4 days x 10 hours) contracting position based in our Fremont, CA office.\nHow You’ll Contribute\nFollow lab protocols and procedures to operate development systems and deliver test results\nManage shared laboratory equipment and ensure equipment is up to date with calibration and maintenance procedures\nAnalyze quality control metrics for instrument runs and prepare data sets for analysis\nDocument and escalate issues identified through the course of testing development instrumentation\nWork closely with Systems Engineering and Development groups to verify and validate product operational and performance requirements\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities\nMinimum AA/AS in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or closely related field\nExperience working in a laboratory environment\nWet lab and intensive pipetting experience is a plus\nMeticulous and detail oriented, ability to follow complex operating procedures (SOPs) with reproducible results and thorough documentation of work\nExcellent organizational, communication and time management skills\nMotivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hard-working and multidisciplinary team\nThis contracting position offers an hourly pay rate between $25/hour and $27/hour, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.\nUltima Genomics is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
