work and career stability\n\nThe Role (What You’ll Own)\nThis is more than completing plumbing installations-you’ll be responsible for leading the crew, owning the job, and making sure the installation is completed correctly from start to finish.\nYou will:\nLead residential plumbing installation projects\n\nWork hands-on alongside installers and apprentices\n\nDirect the crew and assign daily responsibilities\n\nEnsure installations meet plumbing codes and company quality standards\n\nTroubleshoot installation challenges and make decisions in the field\n\nMaintain jobsite safety, productivity, and organization\n\nDeliver a professional customer experience\n\nKey Responsibilities\nInstallation & Technical Execution:\nPerform and lead residential plumbing installations\n\nInstall and connect water, drain, waste, vent, gas, and related plumbing systems\n\nInstall piping, valves, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment\n\nRead and interpret plumbing plans, layouts, specifications, and job requirements\n\nDetermine proper pipe routing, elevations, and fixture locations\n\nTroubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, drainage problems, and installation deficiencies\n\nEnsure all work meets applicable plumbing codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards\n\nCrew Leadership:\nLead and coordinate installers and apprentices in the field\n\nAssign daily tasks and clearly communicate job expectations\n\nProvide hands-on training, coaching, and technical guidance\n\nSet the pace for productivity, workmanship, professionalism, and safety\n\nInspect completed work and provide quality-control oversight\n\nHelp develop apprentices and less-experienced installers\n\nCustomer Experience:\nCommunicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation\n\nExplain completed work and system operation when needed\n\nMaintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites\n\nDeliver a 5-star customer experience from arrival through job completion\n\nPerformance & Accountability:\nTake ownership of job quality, productivity, and completion\n\nEnsure installations are completed efficiently and on schedule\n\nCoordinate materials and verify required equipment and supplies are available\n\nMaintain accurate job documentation, including materials, labor, and project progress\n\nIdentify jobsite challenges early and communicate needs to plumbing leadership\n\nStandards & Safety:\nFollow all applicable plumbing codes and company installation standards\n\nFollow OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, and PPE requirements\n\nSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment\n\nPerform final quality-control inspections before job completion\n\nMaintain clean and organized company vehicles, equipment, and jobsites\n\nTeam Collaboration:\nCommunicate effectively with plumbing leadership, dispatch, warehouse, and other team members\n\nCoordinate with HVAC, electrical, and other trades when necessary\n\nAssist leadership with job planning, material needs, and crew coordination\n\nSupport team goals and contribute to a positive, accountable work environment\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and insurable record\n\nAbility to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana)\n\nStrong residential plumbing installation experience\n\nApprentice or Journeyman plumbing license: Required\n\nPrevious Lead Installer, Foreman, or crew leadership experience: Preferred\n\nStrong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards\n\nAbility to read plumbing plans, layouts, and specifications\n\nStrong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude\n\nAbility to lead, train, and provide direction to a crew\n\nStrong attention to detail and pride in workmanship\n\nStrong communication and customer service skills\n\nAbility to work independently and make decisions in the field\n\nAbility to manage time, materials, and job progress effectively\n\nImportant:\nThis is a hands-on leadership position -you will be expected to work alongside your crew\n\nYou will be responsible for both installation quality and crew performance\n\nLeadership means setting the example in workmanship, productivity, professionalism, and
