This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment failures, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximum production assets availabilities.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all production equipment and machines.\nConduct and report inspections, according to the schedules.\nSupervise maintenance activities on all production equipment and line machines.\nAssign tasks and monitor the performance of the team to ensure high standards of work.\nCoordinate maintenance trainings for the maintenance personnel. \nCoordinate safety trainings and ensure safety compliances.\nImplement and sustain emergency preparedness plans for production areas. \nEnsure prompt and effective response to machine failures/breakdowns. \nCarry out routine inspections required for compliances with standards, such as HACCP, Process Machine Safety, OH&S, Quality Assurance, etc. \nAllocate human, material and service resources, adequately, for OTIF execution of maintenance plans. \nCoordinate improvement teams to identify and implement performance improvements actions. \nCoordinate continuous maintenance sustainability and improvement systems, such as Total Productive Management (TPM). \nCoordinate training and development of team members and support coaching them, to improve their skills, performance, and productivity.\nReport on maintenance performance indicators periodically (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.,), as determined necessary. \nCollaborate closely with production teams and other departments, for optimal synergy. \nEXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS\nNABTEB, WAEC Technical, OND in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering. \nMinimum of 5 years experience in production and maintenance roles, preferably in the food and beverage industry.\nGood knowledge and experience of manufacturing industry safety standards. \nExperience in collating and reporting maintenance data. \nExperience in leading maintenance and machine availability improvement teams. \nGood experience of preventive maintenance and engineering systems.\nProficiency in use of SAP PM, or other CMMS, and Microsoft Office.\nKEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS\nHigh knowledge of Utilities process and controls. \nProficiency in data analysis and presentations. \nMS Office, PM SAP documentation and reporting. \nHighly effective team building and leadership. \nHigh planning and organizing capabilities. \nCollaboration and customer relationship skills. \nUtilities safety principles and practices. \nGood ability to read engineering designs. \nAutonomous maintenance. \nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving
