The procurement manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing purchasing processes to support our manufacturing and sales operations.\nKEY JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods and services.\nIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality and reliable supply of goods and services.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders, including manufacturing, sales, and finance, to understand their procurement requirements and align procurement activities with business objectives.\nLead cross-functional teams to drive cost savings, quality improvements, and innovation in the supply chain.\nImplement best practices in procurement processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance visibility and control over the supply chain.\nMonitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and supply chain optimization.\nDevelop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve procurement performance, including supplier performance, cost savings, and inventory management.\nEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, including ethical standards, anti-corruption measures, and data privacy requirements.\nLead and develop a high-performing procurement team, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management.\nEXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
