We have a culture of excellence through learning, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nJob Purpose\n Manage end to end procurement processes for all indirect related procurement and oversee direct procurement materials. Tasks will include:\nPrice Negotiations\nCost Model Reviews:\nEngage with the deployment of EPDs and NPDs\nBe a key contact for all procure to pay activities.\nContract/Schedule and PIR Management;\nManage And Implement SAP Related Tasks\nEnsure quota arrangement is maintained where needed\nEnsure all active materials are set up with valid contracts\nEscalate SAP issues that may require expert handling.\nEnsure contracts data integrity within the system by carrying out periodic data health checks.\nPrice Trends Monitoring\nConstant follow up with input raw material market prices and price trends.\nBe engaged with external business environment, foreign exchange movements and government policies to proactively anticipate business impact.\nConduct due diligence benchmarking within commodities subcategories.\nInternal and External Relationship Management;\nBuild effective strategic relationships with key suppliers.\nEngage suppliers effectively and proactively.\nPlan quarterly supplier engagement sessions.\nPlan supplier visits where and when necessary.\nParticipate in helping resolve supplier issues and complaints.\nAttend internal cross-functional meetings.\nAttend to requests from other internal and/or external parties.\nBe an effective liaison between internal and external stakeholders.\nCreate And Deliver Effective Budget\nSupport in the setting up of the materials standard cost\nDeliver yearly spend within budget as aligned with the business.\nIdentify, Implement and Deliver Sustainable and Long-Term Savings Opportunities;\nThrough the strategy creation process, identify and explore all potential value levers.\nConstantly engage with the suppliers and R&D teams to identify, implement and deliver cost saving opportunities.\nMonitor Inventory Levels\nParticipate in the setting of stockholding norms for commodities materials purchased by the organisation.\nProvide corrective action support for inventories that vary from plan.\nAcademic Qualifications\nA good first degree in social/management/physical sciences\nPossession of a Post graduate degree in Human Resources/Business Administration/Supply Chain Management or related field is an added advantage\nMembership of the CIPS, CILS, CILCS, CISCOM, Lean Six Sigma or any other related professional qualification is required.\nMinimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar role, especially in the FMCG sector\nKnowledge Requirements\nKnowledge of Inventory Management\nKnowledge of Cost management\nKnowledge of applicable legislations, as well as policies and procedures\nDemonstrates expertise in Procurement
