The Eaton Project and Programme function is responsible for providing the strategy for the planning and execution of all development and production programmes. The function controls programme costs, manages adherence to technical and schedule performance plans. The function manages the risks and opportunities and directly interfaces with customers as required.Key Responsibilities:\nSuccessful management and control of high value and complex projects and programmes, in a multi-disciplinary environment.\nExperience within a product design & development business using the concept of the concept of Product Lifecycle Management.\nExcellent knowledge of scheduling techniques to create WBS, OBS and PBS. Competent in creating, maintaining and reporting project schedules using MS Project including integrated master schedules across multiple projects in a programme or portfolio.\nManagement of project resource demands to support the planned scope of work / schedule across multiple projects, a programme or portfolio.\nAble to effectively define, manage and control work packages / assignments\nSuccessful subcontract management & generation of subcontract statements of work.\nConversant with the deployment of effective issue, risk & opportunity management strategies and techniques, including schedule and cost risk analysis.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems e.g. IFS.\nFamiliar with collating project data and supporting effective reporting to meet business governance requirements.\nEnsure projects within the program align with overall business objectives. \nOversee the entire program and or critical phases, ensuring interconnected parts work together. \nFocus on long-term strategic benefits rather than just project deliverables. \nManage program-level budgets and resources. \nProvide strategic direction and leadership for multiple projects and their managers. \nEnsure overall program success and smooth operations towards the organisation's goals. \nAct as delegated authority for Programmes when requested\nCreate, maintain and communicate project plans and technical documents that accurately reflect progress and planned activities for all internal and Customer deliverables\nProvide a monthly project report in the designated format which includes accurate cost information\nEnsure that project non-conformances are regularly reviewed and have a plan for closure in a timely manner\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nSomeone to have managed values of £5m+ (or representative high-level exposure)\nIdeally with an APM Project Professional Qualification (PPQ) or in the process of\nDegree in related field or Engineering Degree in related field or Engineering or significant experience within the industry\nSuccessful candidate to demonstrate experience of executing similar projects\nProject Management experience of at least 5 years (for external candidates)\nDemonstratable high level of stakeholder management skills\nDemonstrable experience of conflict and priority management\nDemonstrable experience of Project Finance, Commercial, Quality, Supply Chain and Trade Compliance\nDemonstrable experience of defining and delivering Programme and Business Critical Success Factors\nDemonstrable experience of coaching and mentoring\nDemonstrable experience of significant customer engagement\nSomeone with a ‘Can Do’ attitude and represents Eaton PCS Values\nBenefits:\nEvery employee is critical to our success and as such we offer a range of flexible employee benefits along with career development opportunities.\nFlexible working within core working hours\n\n25 days holiday (185hrs) with the option to buy/sell 5 days (37hrs) plus bank holidays\n\n4 times annual salary in life assurance\n\nFlexible benefits package\n\nFunded health benefits\n\nPension Scheme - up to 8% employer contributions\n\nSupportive and friendly working environment with regular team events\n\nYou couldn't be joining the team and Ultra at a more exciting time.
