From developing sonar and radar systems to advancing unmanned and undersea platforms, our technologies empower the U.S. Navy and allied forces to operate in some of the world’s most complex environments.\nAs the maritime and underwater battlespace evolves, we continue to push boundaries-driven by innovation, accountability, and a shared commitment to excellence.\nJoin us as we shape the future of naval warfare-safeguarding the seas and strengthening navies worldwide.\nNationality Requirements\nDue to the nature of the programs we support, certain roles may require candidates to meet U.S. nationality requirements and be eligible to obtain a security clearance.\nPosition Summary\nThe Pack Cell Operator performs efficient packing of buoys, lugging SLCS, banding of pallets and other activities.Job Description\n· Lugging buoys and attaching them to wood bayonet pallet bases\n· Creating marked wood crate panels\n· Packing wood crates with top, sides, and metal banding\n· Building WIP materials for each lot - Wood crate caps, buoy caps, panels, etc.\n· Material Management - Wood caps on FG buoys on the lines and movement with PIV to designated areas.\n· Lot Samples - Pulling and organizing lot samples for DCMA testing\n· Screen Samples - Pulling and organizing screen samples in the event of a failed lot.\n· PPE Requirements - Safety glasses, safety toe footwear, cut-resistant gloves, and cut resistant sleeves.\n· PIV - Movement of FG from main lines, stacking in designated areas\n· Performs all other duties as required, requested or needed.\nTypically, High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years of related experience\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n· Strength and stamina to lift buoys from 36 to 50 pounds ongoing throughout the day\n· Ability to push skids.
