You will guide organizations through their data and AI transformation journeys, helping them design, implement, and optimize modern data platforms built on Databricks.\nYou will combine deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills to ensure customers realize measurable value from their Databricks investments. Working alongside client teams, executives, engineers, and Ultra Tendency consultants, you will lead architecture decisions, promote best practices, and drive successful adoption of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.\nThis is a highly customer-facing role requiring both hands-on technical capability and executive-level communication skills.\nKey Responsibilities\nCustomer Advisory & Architecture\nAct as the primary technical advisor for strategic Databricks customers.\nDesign and review scalable data, analytics, and AI architectures leveraging the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.\nLead architecture workshops, solution design sessions, and technical roadmap discussions.\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.\nAdvise customers on platform modernization, cloud migration, data governance, and AI initiatives.\nSolution Delivery & Optimization\nSupport the successful implementation and adoption of Databricks solutions.\nReview data engineering, analytics, machine learning, and GenAI workloads for scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization.\nIdentify and resolve technical blockers during customer engagements.\nDrive architectural best practices for data pipelines, Lakehouse design, Unity Catalog, governance, and platform operations.\nTechnical Leadership\nServe as a subject matter expert on Databricks capabilities and emerging data & AI technologies.\nMentor customer teams and Ultra Tendency consultants on architecture patterns and best practices.\nDeliver executive presentations, technical workshops, and enablement sessions.\nContribute to reusable assets, reference architectures, and practice development initiatives.\nBusiness Development Support\nPartner with sales and account teams during strategic customer engagements.\nSupport technical discovery, solution positioning, and proposal development.\nProvide architecture guidance during pre-sales and proof-of-concept activities.\nIdentify opportunities for platform expansion and increased customer value.\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud architecture, analytics, or related fields.\n3+ years working with Databricks in enterprise environments.\nStrong expertise in modern data platform architecture and cloud-native solutions.\nHands-on experience designing and implementing Lakehouse architectures.\nStrong knowledge of:\nDatabricks Data Intelligence Platform\nApache Spark\nDelta Lake\nUnity Catalog\nData Governance & Security\nData Warehousing and Lakehouse Design\nETL/ELT Architectures\nData Modeling\nExperience with at least one major cloud platform:\nMicrosoft Azure (preferred)\nAWS\nGoogle Cloud Platform\nProficiency in:\nPython\nSQL\nSpark\nExperience engaging with executive stakeholders and technical leadership teams.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills in English.\nPreferred Qualifications\nDatabricks certifications such as:\nDatabricks Certified Data Engineer Professional\nDatabricks Certified Solutions Architect\nDatabricks Certified Machine Learning Professional\nExperience with:\nGenerative AI and LLM solutions\nMLflow\nMLOps\nData Governance frameworks\nData Mesh architectures\nReal-time and streaming data platforms\nExperience in consulting or professional services environments.\nAdditional language skills in German, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean or Chinese are highly desirable.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nCustomers successfully adopt and scale Databricks solutions.\nComplex technical challenges are resolved quickly and effectively.\nExecutive stakeholders view you as a trusted advisor.\nBest practices are consistently applied across customer environments.\nCustomer satisfaction, platform utilization, and business outcomes improve measurably.\nWhy Join Ultra Tendency?\nWork with leading enterprise customers across APJ & EMEA.\nBe part of a rapidly growing Data & AI consultancy.\nAccess to cutting-edge technologies in Data Engineering, Analytics, AI, and GenAI.\nOpportunity to shape and expand Ultra Tendency's Databricks practice.\nContinuous learning and certification support.\nFlexible and remote-friendly working environment.\nCompetitive compensation package.\nCollaborative, entrepreneurial, and international culture.\nEligibility\nApplicants must currently reside in Singapore and possess the legal right to work in the country.
