You will also serve as the Release Manager for vehicle software releases, coordinating across embedded, cloud, and operations teams.\nResponsibilities:\nOwn the program plan for all controller firmware releases across the vehicle's ECUs.\nManage the end-to-end firmware flashing lifecycle: internal flashing tools, EOL (end-of-line) tester programs, and CM flashing at contract manufacturers.\nServe as Release Manager for vehicle software, defining release gates, managing release branches, and coordinating sign-off across engineering and QA.\nCoordinate with the OTA engineering team to plan and execute over-the-air firmware rollouts, including phased rollouts and rollback planning.\nTrack firmware defect backlogs, manage regression cycles, and drive closure before release milestones.\nMaintain firmware release documentation: release notes, version matrices, and traceability from requirements to release.\nPartner with contract manufacturers to ensure flashing processes are validated, documented, and reproducible.\nIdentify and resolve cross-team dependencies between embedded, cloud, and tooling teams.\nOwn the go/no-go process for each firmware release, aligning stakeholders across engineering, QA, and operations.\nWork closely with the Field Firmware Reliability TPM to incorporate field defect data into release prioritisation.\nRequirements:\n5-8 years of experience in Technical Program Management or Engineering Program Management.\nStrong understanding of embedded software development cycles; familiarity with ECUs, CAN bus, or microcontrollers is highly preferred.\nExperience managing software release processes, including release branching, regression testing, and sign-off workflows.\nExposure to OTA update systems or firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) concepts.\nAbility to work across hardware, firmware, and cloud engineering teams.\nProficiency with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools for backlog and release tracking.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent release tracks.\nB. E. /B.
