They're now expanding their AI engineering capabilities and looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to help build an entirely new generation of intelligent engineering tools.\nAbout the Role\nThis isn't a role where you'll be handed a specification and told what to build. You'll work on zero-to-one AI products, experiment with new approaches and take ideas from early prototypes through to production. You'll have the freedom to influence what gets built, make technical decisions and work directly with the people using your software.\nResponsibilities\nBuild production AI systems, including agent infrastructure, retrieval pipelines, evaluation frameworks and intelligent workflows.\nDevelop AI-powered engineering tools that help users investigate anomalies, identify root causes and analyse complex system behaviour.\nWork with large-scale datasets, including time-series data, telemetry, logs and operational information.\nDesign scalable backend infrastructure to support reliable, production-ready AI applications.\nTake ideas from zero to one, rapidly prototyping, testing and improving solutions based on customer feedback.\nInfluence product and engineering decisions, helping identify which technical problems to solve and how to approach them.\nCollaborate directly with customers to understand real-world challenges and turn them into practical software solutions.\nRequired Skills\n5+ years of software engineering experience, including experience building AI or machine learning products deployed in production.\nStrong software engineering fundamentals, particularly in backend development, distributed systems or data-intensive applications.\nExperience working with large datasets, time-series data, data infrastructure or ML systems.\nHands-on experience developing and deploying AI-powered applications.\nExperience taking products from early-stage ideas through to production.\nComfortable working in ambiguous environments, making technical decisions and taking ownership.\nStrong problem-solving skills and an interest in understanding real customer challenges.\nPreferred Skills\nAI agents, LLM applications, RAG, retrieval pipelines or evaluation frameworks.\nTelemetry, observability platforms or time-series databases.\nRobotics, aerospace, autonomous systems, industrial technology or other hardware-related environments.\nExperience working in
