opportunity.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and build scalable backend systems that support AI-powered applications across multiple customers.\nDevelop and improve platform architecture, including APIs, data ingestion and multi-tenant systems.\nWork with AWS cloud infrastructure, helping ensure systems are secure, reliable and scalable.\nContribute to AI infrastructure, including retrieval systems and RAG capabilities.\nImprove the engineering experience through CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and development tools.\nCollaborate with the CTO and engineering team to solve technical challenges, make architectural decisions and shape the platform's future.\nRequirements\nStrong experience in backend engineering, platform engineering or distributed systems.\nExperience designing and building scalable, production-grade software architectures.\nHands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.\nExperience contributing to architectural decisions and taking ownership of complex technical projects.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD, automated testing, observability and production infrastructure.\nComfortable working in a fast-moving environment where you'll have the freedom to make decisions and solve new problems.\nStrong communication skills and an interest in collaborating directly with engineering teams and customers.\nPreferred Skills\nKotlin, Python or similar backend programming languages.\nExperience with RAG, retrieval systems or AI infrastructure.\nNext.js, Vercel or modern frontend technologies.\nExperience building internal developer platforms or tools.\nPrevious experience in a startup, founding engineering team or early-stage technology company.\nWhat's on Offer\n$200,000-$300,000 base salary, depending on experience.\nFounding equity with
