This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by Facilities & Property Management leadership.\nThis role is hybrid (Monday through Thursday on-site) located in our Kansas City, MO location.\nHow you’ll spend your time: \nSpend 25 to 30% of your time traveling to different UMB sites \nAssist internal departments with space planning/efficiency efforts, exterior signage projects, physical property upkeep/appearance, and other general property related duties as assigned.\nConduct periodic on-site inspections and host weekly job meetings during construction phase ensuring compliance with overall design & function, ensuring corporate standards are met for colors, materials, fabrics, furniture, security & equipment.\nCoordinate & negotiate lease and contract terms with corporate legal staff.\nEvaluate contractors’ ability to perform and help assess risk to the company and need for performance bonds.\nManage overall UMB signage upgrades in coordination with key stakeholders.\nManage overall UMB AV upgrades, new installations in coordination with IT.\nNegotiate with vendors, develop RFPs, and manage the bidding evaluation and negotiation process.\nCommunicate, facilitate, and manage resolution to complex issues and challenging situations and personnel.\nProvide oversight and management of multi-million dollar capital budgets and projects.\nWe’re excited to talk with you if: \nYou have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Project Management, or related fields and at least 3 years of Construction or Properties Project Management experience, OR equivalent combination of education and work experience.\nYou have experience in analyzing and summarizing financial accruals.\nYou have created forecasts and budgets.\nYou have advanced level of design techniques, models, and strategic planning concepts.\nYou have strong understanding and working knowledge of construction and building codes.\nBonus Points If:\nYou have experience managing construction projects within the banking industry.\nAdditional Information:\nThis position was posted on 10/14/2026.
