We are vigilant on the way we are dealing with third parties in our business and want to be compliant with all applicable legislation in the security domain.\nThis position will be located at our plant in Pasadena, TX, and have a split responsibility of 60% North America Region Security, and 40% Bayport Plant Security.\nThe position can be a hybrid work arrangement, with minimum 3 days in the office, 2 days work remote. It is not a fully remote position.\nExecutes and/or leads work within Security.\nFocuses on protecting the organization’s assets and ensuring the safety of employees.\nImplements security measures and protocols to mitigate risks and respond to threats.\n Your Key Accountabilities\nDelivers expert work in Security with high quality and timeliness, applying best practices and standards.\nOwns complex tasks in Risk Analysis, security operations management, producing accurate outputs and identifying risks or anomalies proactively.\nAnalyzes problems, recommends options, and implements improvements in methods, tools, or data flows.\nCollaborates with adjacent teams and stakeholders, communicating insights and recommendations clearly.\nMentors less experienced colleagues, reviewing deliverables and elevating team standards.\nCoordinates cross-functional adoption of discipline-specific enhancements ensuring consistent application and measurable performance gains.\nLeads, develops and executes several security or privacy domains on a global scale or a regional (multi-country) responsibility on security.\nManage the security setup at the site where the RSM is in charge of security, following the strategic planning and the implementation of security concepts, in line with the corporate security strategy and TOM. Lead operational security across North America sites in scope, implementing global security strategies, policies, and the Corporate Security Target Operating Model (TOM) in alignment with local legislation and business needs.\nConduct regular security risk assessments and audits, ensuring compliance with national regulations and internal standards; serve as primary point of contact for business units on security matters.\nEnsuring a secure supply chain by training employees and conducting audits. Organization of appropriate security measures and responsibility for the implementation of the corresponding specifications.\nProposing and overseeing security related projects in and across regional sites, thereby ensuring a harmonized and consistent approach of security within the regional sites in line with local legislation and corporate guidelines and TOM principles; assisting the local security responsible with the translation and implementation of global policies, guidelines and multi-site initiatives; leading projects to increase security awareness\n Who we are looking for\nEDUCATION:\nBatchelor or Master’s degree - preferably with a technical background and an additional training security related ( in Law enforcement, Defense or Intelligence services)\nTECHNICAL SKILLS:\nYou have a 10-year work experience in a security related domain, preferable in a multi- country context;\nExperience in a high tech industrial environment is a plus;\nProject management experience of at least 3 years in a technical/information security domain;\nOrganizational and Technical security management - an ASIS certification is a plus;\nDemonstrated experience in implementing risk management frameworks aligned with ISO 31000 principles; formal training or certification (e.g. ISO 31000 Risk Manager) is an advantage.\nWorking knowledge of information security management systems (ISMS) based on ISO/IEC 27001, particularly as it relates to information classification, physical security, and privacy and third-party data handling and creating awareness.\nFamiliarity with transport and logistics security standards such as TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association), including TSR or FSR requirements,\nTravel in US and Canada quarterly; abroad occasionally.\nPERSONAL SKILLS:\nHigh level of integrity and discretion;\nConvincing and communication skills\nPeople manager\nOrganisational skills\nNetworking and building a strong relationship with colleagues in different businesses and stakeholders across the region;\nResilient and Stress resistant with an ability to quickly respond to incidents\nPragmatic and solution oriented.\nCost aware\nWhat we offer\nWe aim to lead the way.
