Construction Resources offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits.\nThe Material Handler plays a crucial role in the efficient and smooth operation of warehouse and distribution processes. This position is responsible for handling, moving, and organizing tile and stone materials, ensuring accurate inventory management, and contributing to a well-organized and safe work environment. The Material Handler will also provide backup driving and delivery support as business needs require.\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nKey Performance Indicators\nMaterial Handling\nInventory Management\nOrder Fulfillment\nWarehouse Organization\nSafety Compliance\nCommunication\nEquipment Maintenance\nBackup Delivery Support\nResponsibilities\nSafely and efficiently move, load, and unload tile and stone products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other designated equipment.\nInspect materials for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before handling or shipment.\nMaintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.\nConduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventories.\nWork closely with the inventory control team to identify and resolve discrepancies.\nKeep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.\nAssist in the arrangement and optimization of storage spaces for efficient material flow.\nAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and performing tasks.\nReport any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the supervisor.\nCollaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues that may arise.\nCommunicate effectively with suppliers and carriers regarding inbound and outbound shipments.\nProvide backup driving and delivery support as needed, including transporting products to customers or other company locations in a safe and timely manner.\nAssist with loading and unloading materials for deliveries and ensure products are properly secured for transport.\nFollow all company safety procedures, transportation policies, and applicable driving requirements when performing backup driving duties.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nPrevious experience as a material handler in a warehouse environment, preferably in the tile and stone industry.\nPrevious experience loading and unloading trucks.\nValid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements to perform backup driving responsibilities as needed.\nAbility to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\nCommitment to safety and adherence to established protocols.\nPreferred Qualifications\nForklift certification and experience operating other warehouse equipment.\nBasic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.\nProven experience handling materials in a precise and meticulous manner.\nPrevious delivery or commercial driving experience is a plus.\nBENEFITS\n Medical\nDental\nVision\nEmployer Paid Basic Employee Life and AD&D Insurance\nEmployer Paid Long Term Disability\nFlexible Spending Accounts\nVoluntary Short-Term Disability\nVoluntary Life and AD&D Insurance\nVoluntary Accident Insurance\nVoluntary Critical Illness Insurance\n\nEEO\nAt Construction Resources, our people are the driving force behind everything we do.
