We offer demanding, challenging and rewarding careers in software development, product development, emerging technologies, and more for the right candidates.\nEssential Skills:\nAligns with our values: Excellence, Integrity, Professionalism, People Success, Customer Success, Fun, Innovation and Diversity\nStrong communication skills\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\nExcellent problem-solving ability\nWould like to work as part of a self-organizing Scrum team in a scaled agile framework\nMust be a self-starter and loves to collaborate with the team and client\nStrong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to conduct effective Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions and upskill team members and stakeholders\nWork Set-up:\nHybrid set-up\nOctober: On-site training in Singapore (travel provision included).\nNovember - December: Continuation of training on-site in Manila.\nStandard work arrangement resumes thereafter, in line with the assigned project’s requirements.\nRequirements, Duties and Responsibilities:\nDesign, build, and maintain full-stack features using React on the frontend and NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript) on the backend\nArchitect scalable, well-tested APIs and services, and contribute to our data modeling and system design\nOwn features from technical design through deployment and monitoring in production\nWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested TypeScript code and participate in code reviews\nCollaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions\nIdentify and address performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and scalability challenges\nMentor junior and mid-level engineers, and help raise the technical bar across the team\nContribute to engineering best practices, tooling, and CI/CD processes\nFamiliarity and relevant experience with the insurance industry\nConduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions and training for team members and stakeholders, including during the Singapore (October) and Manila (November-December) training engagements.\nDevelop and deliver training materials, guides, and documentation to support upskilling and smooth knowledge handover.\nRequirements\n 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience\nStrong hands-on experience with React (hooks, state management, component architecture)\nStrong hands-on experience with NestJS or a similar Node.js framework (Express, Fastify)\nDeep proficiency in TypeScript, with a solid grasp of type-safe design across frontend and backend\nExperience designing and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs\nSolid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)\nFamiliarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar)\nExperience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code\nExperience with microservices architecture and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)\nContributions to open-source projects or a strong personal project portfolio\nPrior experience mentoring or leading engineers\nStrong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and driving successful project outcomes.\nPrior experience conducting Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions, training, or facilitation for teams and/or clients is highly preferred.\nWillingness and availability to travel to Singapore for training in October, and to continue training in Manila from November to December.\nNOTE: The list of qualifications is a guide.
