requirements.\nRequirements, Duties and Responsibilities:\nArchitect, design, and lead development of scalable, high-availability backend services and RESTful APIs using Go, Java, and JavaScript\nDrive the design and evolution of enterprise-grade applications using the Spring Framework and Spring Boot, setting technical direction for the team\nOwn the design of complex business logic, authentication, authorization, and integration services, ensuring extensibility and security by design\nDefine API design standards and lead the design of APIs for internal and external system integrations\nPartner with frontend teams and take ownership of complex user-facing components using ReactJS where needed\nLead the design and optimization of relational database solutions using MySQL, including architecture decisions for scale\nArchitect efficient, scalable database schemas, indexes, stored procedures, and data access layers\nLead database performance tuning and query optimization efforts, identifying systemic bottlenecks\nOwn end-to-end integration architecture between frontend applications and backend services\nEvaluate, integrate, and govern third-party services, APIs, and enterprise systems\nDrive microservices architecture and distributed system design decisions across the team\nEstablish and enforce standards for data consistency, security, and rapport and teamwork\nCommunicate regularly and effectively with Client and customers as needed\nFamiliarity and relevant experience with the insurance industry\nConduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions and training for team members and stakeholders, including during the Singapore (October) and Manila (November-December) training engagements.\nDevelop and deliver training materials, guides, and documentation to support upskilling and smooth knowledge handover.\nRequirements\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience\nAt least 6+ years of professional backend software engineering experience, with a proven track record of owning systems end-to-end\nStrong hands-on experience with Go, Java, and JavaScript in production environments\nDeep expertise in the Spring Framework and Spring Boot for building enterprise-grade applications\nProven experience designing and building RESTful APIs, including authentication, authorization, and integration services\nWorking knowledge of ReactJS and experience collaborating on or contributing to frontend components\nStrong expertise in MySQL, including schema design, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning at scale\nSolid experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems design\nDemonstrated experience integrating third-party services, APIs, and enterprise systems\nStrong understanding of system design principles, including scalability, reliability, and security best practices\nExperience leading or significantly contributing to architecture and technical design decisions\nProven ability to mentor engineers and lead code reviews that raise team-wide code quality\nExperience with automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing)\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and production monitoring/incident response\nExcellent communication skills, with experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership\nPrior experience mentoring or leading engineers a plus\nStrong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative,
