We offer demanding, challenging and rewarding careers in software development, product development, emerging technologies, and more for the right candidates.\nEssential Skills:\nAligns with our values: Excellence, Integrity, Professionalism, People Success, Customer Success, Fun, Innovation and Diversity\nStrong communication skills\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\nExcellent problem-solving ability\nWould like to work as part of a self-organizing Scrum team in a scaled agile framework\nMust be a self-starter and loves to collaborate with the team and client\nStrong training and facilitation skills, with the ability to conduct effective Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions and upskill team members and stakeholders\nWork Set-up:\nHybrid set-up\nOctober: On-site training in Singapore (travel provision included).\nNovember - December: Continuation of training on-site in Manila.\nStandard work arrangement resumes thereafter, in line with the assigned project’s requirements.\nJob Summary:\nHe/she shall be responsible for the end-to-end technical solution architecture of assigned projects and shall also be responsible in the preparation of the following deliverables, in connection with assigned project:\nSolution Architecture Document (SAD)\nTechnical Design and Integration Specifications\nArchitecture Decision Records (ADRs)\nNon-Functional Requirements (NFR) and Capacity/Scalability Plan\nTechnology Roadmap and Migration Plan (When applicable)\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nDesign end-to-end solution architectures that meet business, technical, security, and scalability requirements\nLead architectural discovery, evaluate technology options, and recommend the optimal stack, platforms, and tools for each engagement.\nTranslate business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs, system diagrams, and integration blueprints.\nDefine and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across development teams.\nProvide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to development, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate architectural and technical risks, including performance, security, and scalability concerns.\nCollaborate with Delivery Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to align solution architecture with project scope, timeline, and budget.\nReview code, designs, and technical deliverables to ensure adherence to architectural direction and quality standards.\nDrive the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, cloud services, and modern architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven, serverless).\nSupport pre-sales and solutioning activities, including technical proposals, estimations, and architecture presentations to clients.\nEnsure solutions comply with organizational standards, governance, security, and data privacy requirements.\nFacilitate architecture review boards, design workshops, and technical stakeholder communications as required.\nConduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions and training for engineering teams and stakeholders, including during the Singapore (October) and Manila (November-December) training engagements.\nDevelop and deliver technical training materials, architecture guides, and documentation to support upskilling and smooth knowledge handover.\nSupport continuous improvement of architecture practices, tooling, and delivery processes across the organization.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\nAt least 8-10 years of experience in software engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a Solutions Architect or comparable technical leadership role.\nProven experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade, cloud-based, and/or on-premise solution architectures.\nStrong knowledge of architecture frameworks and principles (e.g., TOGAF, microservices, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design).\nHands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform); multi-cloud experience is an advantage.\nSolid understanding of API design, system integration patterns, data architecture, and DevOps/CI-CD practices.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly preferred.\nStrong knowledge of application security, data privacy, and compliance considerations in solution design.\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers on architecture and design best practices.\nExperience preparing and maintaining architecture documentation, including solution designs, ADRs, and technical roadmaps.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences, including C-level stakeholders.\nExperience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks.\nFamiliarity and relevant experience with the insurance industry\nPrior experience conducting Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions, training, or facilitation for teams and/or clients is highly preferred.\nWillingness and availability to travel to Singapore for training in October, and to continue training in Manila from November to December.\nRelevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly preferred.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and driving successful technical outcomes.\nNOTE: The list of qualifications is a guide.
