Because we are building an entirely new paradigm of AI hardware-combining neuromorphic engineering, analog circuitry, and advanced software-the talent we need is rare, multidisciplinary, and highly sought-after.\nAs a Technical Recruiter at Unconventional AI, you will partner directly with our founders and engineering leaders to design sourcing strategies, attract world-class talent, and close exceptional candidates. This isn't a standard software recruiting role; you will be mapping entirely new talent pools across deep tech, hardware architecture, AI research, and neuroscience. You will act as a strategic advisor, helping to build the recruiting engine from the ground up while maintaining an uncompromisingly high talent bar.\nIn this role, you will:\n Own Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end hiring process for highly specialized technical roles (e.g., Analog Circuit Design, AI Infrastructure, Machine Learning Research, and Systems Engineering), from initial scoping to offer negotiation and closing.\nPartner with Leadership: Work closely with technical leaders to deeply understand hiring needs, define role requirements, and translate business priorities into actionable talent plans.\nBuild Pipeline: Design and execute creative, proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage top-tier passive candidates in highly competitive and niche technical markets.\nElevate the Candidate Experience: Ensure every interaction reflects Unconventional AI's bold mission and values, providing a high-touch, seamless journey from outreach to onboarding.\nArchitect Recruiting Operations: Help build and refine our internal hiring processes, interview loops, and ATS workflows to scale efficiently without sacrificing quality.\nEvangelize our Mission: Serve as a brand ambassador, representing Unconventional AI within the academic, scientific, and deep-tech communities to attract pioneers who want to build the next generation of computing.\nYou might be a good fit if you have:\n5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally within a high-growth startup, frontier AI lab, or specialized deep-tech/hardware environment.\n A proven track record of sourcing and closing exceptional talent in complex technical domains (e.g., AI/ML research, semiconductors, embedded systems, or high-performance computing).\nDeep technical curiosity. You don’t just match keywords; you have a genuine interest in understanding novel computing architectures, hardware-software co-design, and the future of AI.\nStrategic advisory skills.
