This role focuses on the execution of core HR processes, tier one employee relations support, and day-to-day guidance to retail leaders in the respective countries, ensuring consistent application of company policies and alignment with local employment regulations. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, HRBP - Corp & Retail\nYour Impact\nBusiness Partnering & Manager Support\nProvide first-line HR support, coaching, and guidance to District Managers and Store Managers across assigned countries on a broad range of people matters, HR policies, procedures, and best practices.\nPromote a positive employee experience by driving fair, consistent, and compliant people practices.\nPartner closely with HR Operations and the broader HR team to ensure effective delivery of HR support and services.\nEmployee Relations & Performance ManagementManage routine employee relations matters, including performance concerns, conduct issues, absence management, and other workplace matters, partnering with HR Operations and Legal as appropriate.\nSupport managers with performance-related documentation, coaching conversations, corrective actions, and follow-up plans.\nEscalate complex, high-risk, or sensitive employee relations matters to the Sr. Manager, HRBP and Legal partners as required.Support the execution of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.\nHR Program Delivery\nExecute HR programs and initiatives in partnership with Centres of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Operations.Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment activities, including seasonal and volume hiring initiatives.\nAssist in identifying development needs and connecting employees with relevant learning and development opportunities.\nSupport the consistent application of compensation, benefits, and HR policies across the retail population.\nOperational Excellence & Compliance\nSupport onboarding, offboarding, and key employee lifecycle activities to ensure a consistent teammate experience.\nMaintain accurate documentation and records relating to employee actions and HR processes.Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, company policies, and internal governance requirements, and support audits, policy implementation, and remediation activities in partnership with HR Operations, Legal, and business leaders.\nMonitor workforce trends and people-related risks within assigned countries, proactively identifying issues and recommending practical solutions to improve business performance, compliance, and teammate experience.\nChange Management & Continuous Improvement\nSupport the planning and execution of business and organizational changes within assigned countries, including store openings, closures, restructuring activities, and workforce transitions.\nLead small-to-medium HR improvement initiatives within assigned countries to enhance compliance, operational effectiveness, and the teammate experience. \nQualifications\n4 years of experience in HR retail business partner support.\nExperience supporting managers with employee relations and performance management topics.\nGood understanding of HR policies and employment practices (local market knowledge an advantage).\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust with frontline managers.\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills and follow-through.Ability to work in a structured environment and manage multiple priorities.\nTeam-oriented mindset, with willingness to learn and grow within HR.\nOpen to interim / temporary assignments (1 year)\nWorkplace Location\nLocation: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.\nWork Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week. \nUA does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based work authorization for this position at this time.\nRelocation\nNo relocation provided\nBase Compensation\n€60,000.00-€80,000.00 EUR\nMost new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time.
