This is a seasonal, hourly position that includes the option of team member housing for the duration of the season.\nCompetencies\nEffective Communication\nAdaptability\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist other employees in the department.\nAbility to execute and balance multiple priorities, all while positively engaging with on-site guests and upcoming arrivals.\nCultivate and share resources and leads with your supervisor for departmental growth.\nEnsure all events and adventures are well attended and received.\nContribute and assist teammates on-site to maintain high standards of camp operations.\nDiligently communicate with your supervisor regarding pending priorities and immediate concerns.\nDemonstrate the stamina to work long hours in varying weather conditions.\nEffectively coordinate and execute tasks cross-departmentally, including but not limited to Guest Experience, Front Desk, Adventures, Food & Beverage, and Groups.\nWelcome guests as they arrive, confirm their on-site activities, and set the tone for the duration of their stay.\nShare your passion, knowledge, and recommendations for activities and attractions within the local community.\nDemonstrate the ability to problem-solve independently or collaboratively with your team and/or supervisor.\nEagerly seek opportunities to ensure guests have everything they need.\nConduct on-site activities, including but not limited to stargazing, nature walks, yoga, live music, special events, group events, and holiday-themed activities.\nStrive for excellence in the guest experience across all departmental priorities, including adventures, on-site activities, retail, and equipment rentals.\nDemonstrate accountability and diligence in all associated responsibilities.\nParticipate in weekly and daily meetings to ensure Guest Experience Coordinators and Front Desk team members are informed about on-site and off-site activities, upcoming events, groups, special arrivals, and other camp updates.\nWork efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum of two years of experience in guest-facing roles within resorts, hotels, or hospitality environments.\nService-minded with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.\nGenuine, outgoing, friendly, and dynamic.\nEnthusiasm for sharing knowledge of local attractions, landmarks, activities, history, and culture.\nStrong teamwork and adaptability skills.\nAdditional Information\nThis position requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when applicable.\nThis position requires the ability to independently lift a minimum of 45 pounds.\nPhysical demands associated with this position include extensive walking, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and maneuvering in an outdoor environment on uneven surfaces.\nAbility to work in extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity, and wind.\nTIPS Certification Required:Must be obtained by the property's opening date or before performing any work involving food or alcohol handling.\n\nThis position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background check and/or motor vehicle records check, if requested by Under Canvas.\nThis job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the position and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of Under Canvas.\nCompensation and Benefits\nUnder Canvas strives to provide a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that addresses the needs of our team members.
