As an Operations Supervisor, you partner closely with the General Manager (GM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) to ensure the camp delivers exceptional guest experiences. The Operations Supervisor serves as an expert in customer service and operational processes, collaborating daily with team members from front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and food & beverage. The Operations Supervisor would be directly responsible for managing the Camp Concierge, Guest Experience Coordinator, and Housekeeping teams. Together with the GM and AGM, the Operations Supervisor communicates goals and expectations to the team and assists where needed.\nThis is a seasonal, non-exempt position.\nResponsibilities\nCross trained in multiple property departments\nThink critically to respond and react quickly to ever changing situations on property\nDeliver clear expectations to the team in all operational areas\nProfessional in all internal and external communications\nMaintain a positive and open-minded attitude\nHelp and support guest and team member issues quickly and efficiently\nAssist in interviews and hiring\nObserve corrective action delivery to team members\nDelegate tasks ensuring follow through and completion\nAble to run the camp and work independently with minimal oversight\nFind ways to streamline processes to maximize efficiency and resource use\nEstablish and maintain relationships with local businesses and communities\nAssist with the development of creative outlets to engage team members and show appreciation or recognition on a consistent and regular basis\nBe growth oriented\nEvaluate, develop, and report on NPS andeNPSaction plans\nMonitor financial performance to drive business decisions\nCreate synergy across property departments through strong leadership\nMeet with team members to support their growth and development\nCreate positive work environment that is guest-focused\nEnsure that all camp-level SOPs and expectations are implemented, updated, and maintained\nCollaborate with other members of camp management and the corporate team\nResponsible for oversight of approval, timeandattendanceand payroll, for the entire Rooms department\nPrioritize tasks effectively\nParticipate in camp level and company-wide meetings\nSubmit high quality work products in a timely manner\nRespond to guest reviews in the established time period\nOther duties as assigned\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED or applicable work experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a supervisory position for at least 1 year, hospitality experience\nMust have a valid driver's license\nCompetently perform duties in absence of GM and AGM\nDemonstrated commitment to delivering high quality customer service\nGoal-oriented, results-driven, strong interpersonal and communication skills\nCommunicate in a clear and professional way\nInteract with a friendly, enthusiastic, positive attitude\nDemonstrate sound judgement, follow direction, and take decisive appropriate action\nLearn, embrace, and train team on company policies, practices, and procedures\nStrong organizational skills to execute and prioritize multiple tasks\nAble to influence and inspire teams\nAbility to work independently and meet deadlines on assigned projects\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and in HMS and POS systems\nParticipate in educational and training opportunities\nUnderstanding of property management systems\nAdditional Information\nThis position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protectiveequipment,when applicable.\nThis position requires that the individualisable tolift a minimum of 45lbs independently.\nPhysical demands associated with this position include extensive walking, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and maneuvering in an outdoor environment on uneven surfaces.\nAbility to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity, and wind. \nThis position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background check and/or motor vehicle records check, if requested by Under Canvas.\nThis job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of Under Canvas. \nCompensation and Benefits\nUnder Canvas strives to provide a comprehensive benefits and compensation package that addresses the needs of our team members.
