candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions: \n\nAWS Cloud Engineering: \nDesign, develop, and operate serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3 EventBridge, SNS/SQS.\nImplement secure networking using VPCs, IAM roles, and security best practices.\nMonitor and optimise solutions using CloudWatch metrics, logs, and alarms.\n\nData Pipelines and ETL: \nBuild and enhance serverless data pipelines using AWS Lambda and Glue.\nDesign event-driven and API-based ingestion architectures.\nPerform data modelling and transformations for analytics and BI use cases.\n\nAPI Development and Integration: \nDesign and implement RESTful APIs using an API Gateway and Lambda.\nIntegrate with internal and external systems using secure API and webhook-based patterns.\nDefine and maintain OpenAPI / Swagger specifications.\n\nDevOps and Infrastructure as Code: \nProvision and manage infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CDK.\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.\nAutomate deployments and enforce repeatable, reliable delivery processes.\n\nObservability and Dashboarding: \nDevelop Grafana dashboards for system, pipeline, and business metrics.\nImplement CloudWatch-based monitoring, alerting, and logging.\nVisualise and analyse time-series data to support operational and BI insights.\n\nSecurity and Governance: \nImplement IAM modelling, secrets management, encryption, and audit logging.\nEnforce cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration: \nProduce clear documentation and architecture diagrams.\nCollaborate with Application Software Engineering, IT, OT, and DevOps teams.\nParticipate in design discussions and technical decision-making.\n\nRequirements: \n5-8 years of overall experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or data engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, S3 SNS/SQS).\nExperience building data pipelines and ETL workflows in cloud-native architectures.\nProficiency in Python and/or Node.js for backend and Lambda development.\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or AWS CDK).\nCI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar tools.\nStrong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and security.\nExperience with Grafana and CloudWatch for observability and dashboards.\nExperience with Time-series data platforms (InfluxDB or similar).\nSkills\nAWS, AWS Lambda, Amazon
