This role will contribute to both frontend and backend development, including user interfaces, application logic, databases, APIs, and integrations across Uneekor’s ecommerce, business, customer service, and operational systems.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and understand how individual applications fit into a larger technology ecosystem. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to improve application functionality, system reliability, operational efficiency, and overall customer experience.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain frontend and backend applications, services, and software features.\nBuild intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces that support business processes and customer experiences.\nDevelop backend application logic, services, APIs, and database solutions.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and development best practices.\nMonitor application performance, troubleshoot defects, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.\nDevelop and maintain APIs, data connections, and integrations with platforms such as Shopify, NetSuite, Acumatica, Stripe, Loop, HubSpot, Gorgias, and other third-party applications.\nBuild and support data flows connecting ecommerce, customer service, finance, sales, marketing, operations, and other business functions.\nDesign and maintain database structures, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data workflows as appropriate.\nTroubleshoot application errors, integration failures, data inconsistencies, and performance issues across connected systems.\nInvestigate whether technical issues originate in frontend applications, backend services, databases, integration logic, or third-party platforms.\nIdentify redundant, inefficient, or unnecessarily complex integrations and recommend practical improvements.\nEstablish reliable integration patterns and document technical solutions, system dependencies, and data flows.\nPartner with Product, Operations, Customer Support, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.\nEvaluate proposed requirements and solutions, recommending simpler, more efficient, or more customer-friendly alternatives when appropriate.\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes, streamline workflows, and improve customer journey.\nTake ownership of assigned projects from requirements gathering and development through testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.\nWork effectively with limited direction while recognizing when additional input or collaboration is needed.\nDocument applications, integrations, development processes, and technical decisions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.\nQualifications / Knowledge / Critical Skills\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.\n3-7 years of professional software engineering experience, including experience with both frontend and backend development.\nExperience developing and maintaining web applications across the full software stack.\nExperience with modern frontend technologies, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.\nExperience developing and consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party services.\nExperience with relational databases, SQL, database design, and data management.\nExperience integrating multiple business applications, ecommerce platforms, or SaaS solutions.\nUnderstanding of software testing, debugging, version control, application security, and deployment practices.\nAbility to troubleshoot technical issues across frontend applications, backend services, databases, and system integrations.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nDemonstrated ability to understand technical problems from both a business and customer perspective.\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.\nUneekor Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
