We are building the core infrastructure to abstract chains from end user payments, enabling the next billion users to experience the benefits of blockchain without the UX burdens.\nAbout the role\nWe're hiring a Senior Developer Success Engineer to make Relay the easiest way for developers to move value onchain. You'll work directly with integrators, get complex implementations across the finish line, and turn what you learn into a better product for everyone who follows.\nYou'll partner closely with our Customer team: they own the commercial relationship, you own the technical one.\nWhat you'll do\nCover US business hours\nThis role is remote within the United States, with a strong preference for Eastern Time.\n\nOwn integration support\nOwn the technical relationship when developers need help integrating with Relay\n\nDebug directly with developers, drive issues to resolution, and make sure the same problem is easier-or unnecessary-the next time\n\nKnow when the answer is better guidance, a better implementation, or a better product\n\nWork directly with integrators\nWork alongside developers from first integration through healthy production\n\nHelp integrators choose the right path through Relay and get complex implementations across the finish line\n\nMove easily between a partner call, a broken integration, a code sample, and a product decision\n\nBuild what scales\nTurn repeated integration work into docs, examples, templates, and tooling other developers can use\n\nTreat documentation as part of the product, not something that trails it\n\nWrite for developers-and the agents increasingly working alongside them\n\nClose the loop\nBe Relay's most informed voice on where integrations break down and why\n\nTurn what you learn from developers into better APIs, workflows, and product decisions\n\nMeasure success by whether developers integrate faster, with less help, over time\n\nAbout you\nYou treat every integration issue as a product problem, not just a ticket to close\n\nYou're technically strong enough to prototype, debug, test, and verify integrations independently\n\nYou can explain APIs clearly in writing and in conversation without losing technical precision\n\nYou establish practical standards for writing, improving, and publishing developer documentation\n\nYou notice repeated friction and turn it into a better default\n\nYou can move between technical and non-technical audiences without losing precision\n\nYou're comfortable building a new function in a fast-moving startup\n\nSkills and abilities\nMust-have\n5+ years in Developer Success, Developer Relations, or Solutions Engineering-or similar experience in software development\n\nExperience owning high-stakes technical issues with external developers through resolution\n\nAbility to prototype, debug, test, and verify production integrations independently\n\nA body of developer-facing work-documentation, examples, demos, or tools-that made a technical product easier to use\n\nStrong technical writing and communication skills\n\nNice to have\nExperience with API-first, infrastructure, payments, fintech, or crypto products\n\nFamiliarity with SDK design, API evolution, and developer tooling\n\nExperience building documentation or examples for AI coding
