Coordinate and support budget information gathering process and ensure meeting of plant objectives and aid management decision making.\n Cost Management\n Cost control – analyse, identify, and drive exploitation of cost saving opportunities.\n Lead cost effective & efficiency initiatives across the business and ensure maximization of product margins.\n Product Costing\n Work closely with the Plant Manager to drive product cost competitiveness.\n Maintain accurate product costing in SAP activity type and overheads rates updates\n Work closely with the Business Controller to develop competitive pricing strategies for various products to drive maximization of margins.\n Internal Controls\n Ensure effective internal controls are in place within plant revenue, expenditure, inventory processes etc to prevent loss of company’s assets.\n Inventory Management\n Ensure optimum stockholding and a sound inventory control system.\n Maintain and develop monthly stock taking and reconciliation procedures for all sites and depots.\n Ensure inventory variances are fully investigated, approved, and booked on a timely basis including imported materials and external stores.\n plant performance\n Prepare timely, accurate and cost-effective plant reports and highlight variances so that management can take effective action to improve operating performance.\n Support the payables and receivables sections.
