We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Full-Stack Java Developer to join our UniQue team.\nWhat will you be doing in this role?\nWork with subject matter experts to gather business requirements.\nPerform analysis of existing processes and applications, and additional/new end user requirements.\nDesign applications and micro-services addressing these requirements.\nImplement these applications and micro-services considering the technology stack.\nSupport existing microservices applications for different divisions.\nPerform testing (unit test, integration test, system test, performance test) these applications and microservices.\nSupport the business during user acceptance testing and obtain business signoff.\nSource code, configuration, and automated unit tests, checked in to the provided versioning system (Git), along with documentation (e.g., Javadoc and Asciidoc).\nTest results, perform items related to the change management process (ServiceNow).\nPrepare documentation, reporting, and change management related to these applications and microservices.\nEngage in active participation in agile ceremonies.\nRelease preparation and release management.\nEnsure all material is stored on the SharePoint environment for audit purposes.\nIdentify risks and liaise on issues related to changes.\nAct as a change agent to help facilitate effective deployments/modifications to new and current industry practices.\nMaintain customer relationships within different divisions to ensure smooth communication.\nRequirements\nWhat do you need to succeed in this position?\nBachelor’s degree in IT and minimum of 10 years of hands-on Java experience. \nExperience personally writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests for Java applications.\nHands-on development experience with Spring and Spring Boot, including persistence using JPA and Hibernate. \nExperience using Git for team-based software development, including branches, pull requests or merge requests, and code review.\nExperience writing SQL queries for relational databases and using XML, YAML and JSON in application development or configuration.\nHands-on experience with AI-agent-driven software development using at least one of GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or Codex. Experience must include agent-led implementation or modification of application code; code completion alone is insufficient.\nHands-on experience developing Angular frontend applications using TypeScript/JavaScript.\nAdvanced English (C1) communication skills (written and spoken).\nDesirable\nExperience with Apache Camel.\nExperience with agile (Scrum) and DevSecOps.\nExperience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, e.g., Azure Pipelines.\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code, e.g., Terraform and containerized environments, e.g., Docker.\nExperience with public cloud architectures, e.g., Microsoft Azure.\nExperience with the development of microservices.\nExperience in the financial services industry.\nExperience with service management following ITIL.\nAt Uni Systems, we are providing equal employment opportunities and banning any form of discrimination on grounds of gender, religion, race, color, nationality, disability, social class, political beliefs, age, marital status, sexual orientation or any other characteristics.
