Taking up this assignment is motivating and rewarding.\nKey Functions, Accountabilities and Related Duties/Tasks\n1. Safe and Reliable Driving Services\nProvide safe and timely transportation of UNICEF staff, visitors, consultants, and goods, including to remote field locations.\nAdhere to traffic regulations and UNICEF safety standards.\nMaintain professionalism, discretion, and support for visitors, including airport pickups and basic protocol assistance.\n2. Routine Vehicle Care, Maintenance and Readiness\nConduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure operational readiness.\nCoordinate servicing and repairs with the supervisor.\nKeep vehicles clean, secure, and equipped with required safety and operational supplies.\n3. Use of Digital Tools and Tracking Systems\nUse vehicle tracking systems (VTS), the UN Mobility Tool, and other digital platforms to support fleet operations.\nManage trip information, routing, and travel status through approved digital tools.\nComply with fleet management procedures and reporting requirements.\n4. Trip Documentation and Reporting\nMaintain accurate vehicle records, including mileage, fuel consumption, trip details, and service history.\nPrepare and submit required transport and fleet reports in a timely manner.\nEnsure all travel and vehicle documentation is up to date.\n5. Communication and Emergency Support\nMaintain communication during field movements using radios and mobile devices.\nFollow emergency response and incident-reporting procedures.\nSupport safe operations in coordination with UNDSS and field teams, including basic vehicle recovery when required.\n6.
