Monitor events for attacks, intrusions, unauthorized or illegal activity\r\n- Analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise\r\n- Analyze anomalies in network traffic using metadata\r\n- Identify applications and operating systems of a network device based on network traffic\r\n- Monitor network traffic for security incidents and events\r\n- Conduct research, analysis, and correlation across a wide variety of all source data sets\r\n- Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities\r\n- Conduct threat research\r\n- Generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders\r\n- Stay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news\r\n- Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments\n\nRequired Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field is required\r\n- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts\r\n- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies\r\n- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and directory services\r\n- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and assess risks, threats, patterns and trends\r\n- Teamworking skills for collaborating with team
