Work format is hybrid or fully remote.\nWhat you will do\nOwn the architecture of the new Azure Kubernetes platform and make design decisions independently (AKS, networking, identity)\nDesign the Pulumi abstractions (cluster, network, storage, Key Vault, databases, resource groups) for real production workloads\nLead the port of the legacy database abstraction\nDesign and run the disaster recovery test: the whole environment is recreatable from code after a total loss\nLead the Datadog to Grafana migration and set the standards for alerts and dashboards\nDesign the multi-environment model (production, infrastructure, development, on-demand ephemeral) from one codebase via configuration toggles\nStandardize CI/CD on the cluster and resolve the CI tooling question together with the client's DevOps lead\nReview pull requests, set coding standards, and mentor the Middle engineer\nWhat you bring\n5+ years of experience\nSolid production Kubernetes experience, building and running the platform other developers deploy to, including upgrades and troubleshooting at depth\nDesigned and owned Azure infrastructure end to end: AKS architecture and upgrades, networking (VNet, subnets, private endpoints), identity (Entra ID, managed identities, RBAC), Key Vault, storage. You make architecture calls independently and have planned and tested disaster recovery\nInfrastructure as Code (Terraform is fine, Pulumi is a strong plus), written as real Python with modules, classes, and reusable abstractions that you design yourself\nDeep hands-on knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem (GitOps, service mesh / CNI, observability, secrets, policy engines), with the judgment to choose between tools\nCI/CD ownership: you design pipelines, self-hosted runners, and GitOps delivery\nCompetent pull request review and the ability to mentor other engineers\nConfident spoken English for direct, daily work with the client team\nSelf-directed approach: comfortable with a moving target and an agile way of working\nNice to have\nPulumi in production\nIstio, Cilium, Argo CD,
